Default Where Have You BEEN?

Hello,

I am new to the Warrior Forum but not new to IM and affiliate marketing, so all I can say to you guys here is, "Where have you BEEN?" So glad I found you. Great stuff in here! I am one of those nickel-and-dime IMer's...learned enough to make $100 a week but can't seem to make it to $100 a day - you know - make-a-real-living money. So I'm entering the CPA world to see if I can break through my seemingly self-imposed ceiling. I've been accepted into enough networks to choose some offers and get to work. I would love to get some advice in here on a few specific questions. Some probably are ignorant - but let me say I do appreciate your willingness to share and save others valuable time and money learning for themselves. So here goes...

1) Link Cloaking for Direct Linking - I've done re-directs from godaddy for years. Using the temporary option, I can also mask and no one ever sees my affiliate link. I have not used cloaking. What's the difference?

2) Clicks to Impressions - Does anyone have some good data on impressions to clicks ratio that you use to judge if a campaign is going to be worth pursuing? If you're not paying per impressions, I guess it doesn't matter, except to know that you may be wasting your time - or perhaps not properly targeting your audience. For example, if I've stuck a PPC ad up on Facebook and targeted it, it's running live and getting NO clicks...how many impressions do I need before I toss out either the ad, the offer, or the venue? 5,000, 10,000, 20,000 or more? My affiliate products generally get a click for every 1,000-1,500 impressions, but I wondered if I should measure CPA offers with a different stick?

3) Networks and Offers - How many CPA networks should I try to become a member of? (Don't you get kicked out if you are not active?) If I am driving free (or very cheap) traffic to an offer, how many offers should I try to get online somewhere (aka keep up with) in order to discover which ones are going to be profitable?

Thanks for your help!
