Hey guys, I'm just starting to dove in to zee wonderful world of media buys. The two sites I've seen recommended so far are adbrite and myspace. I was wondering if you guys could reccomend a few others as well, for a noob such as my self? Also, what would be the best ebook or training on media buys, to cover the basics? I've seen the mediabuyingcoach, but I don't feel like investing two hundo each month till I'm seeing a positive ROI first. Thank guys, many thanks in advance |

I guess myspace is similar to mediabuying as your using an image/banner, but it's more considered social media, and adbrite is more of a ppc engine.. there isn't much open information on mediabuys, the long and short of it is you buy advertising space on websites, lots of testing and trial and error

You can go to alexa.com or get a url scraper to pull relevant urls, then go to quantcast.com and put them in there of course you don't want any google.com, yahoo.com, disney.com choose smaller ones with relevant traffic and in quantcast in the upper right it will have a link whether they accept ads or not and just contact the webmaster directly. Pretty good deals out there. Don't lock into anything make sure you have an agreement and a 24 hr out clause, so if the traffic sucks or doesn't convert you can cancel. |
