Made $2000 last month! Sucks

I have been trying to make money online for about 20 months now and have been pretty bad at it until the last 6 or 8 weeks. The problem is the thing I was finally successful at is kind of black/grayhat. I do not want to build a business on that stuff, I just got frustrated and tried it hoping to get something to work, and unfortunately it did.

sorry Just wanted to vent a little, frustrated. It's tough to walk away from that kind of money but I think I am going to. I will just keep working at things that are legit and hope I breakthrough the wall sooner or later. Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone.

20 month? and ending with blackhat?
why not just follow an easy way? buy a $10 wso and apply the method and you will succeed making money without having to be involved with those underground blackhats.

I dont know what you are doing, but try and think of a whitehat way to apply what you are doing. If its totally deceptive then you may be out of luck, but there are blackhat methods out there that can profitably be converted to whitehat!

Hope there is...would be great to be going down the right track from here forward

It's nothing horrible I guess. I started a movie site monetized with CPAlead. I know there are thousands of people doing it and making good money with it. I was thinking about just selling it and moving on.

My friend if you can build legit sites for CPA promoting..you are sitting on a business right there.

Add a guide for CPA marketing and flip those babies for CA$H!!!

It's the opposite of whitehat. The forum is discouraging discussion of it by censoring the word (the word b....h... is automatically replaced by bluefart).

Can you reveal what kind of traffic and conversions are you seeing?
Just to compare it to different niches and different monetization methods.

Doing things the honest, legal way pays off. It doesn't matter if you're making millions if you're scamming people (Not saying you are of course), so remember it's better to make 2 grand a month doing the right thing than making twice that amount doing things that aren't so good. Look at it this way, you can make two grand, now double that, then when you get to four grand, double that, just keep doing it, rinse and repeat.

I've been in the same situation. Use black hat/gray hat methods for money now, while you build long term white hat income.

Use what you are doing now to build a more solid foundation. Nothing wrong with what you do. Just reinvest into more long term things. Sustainable sites that will bring in income down the road.

dctmp, maybe I'm asking too much, but could you tell us (or PM me) how you were able to promote/drive traffic to that site? I've considered them in the past, but the amount of time to get it to the point of receiving traffic always turned me off. How long did it take you?

to clear something up here....

The reason he feels this way about his movie site is that those movies he embeds on his site are copywritten. You have to get an offshore hosting account becuase its agianst hotgator and thems tos. Although I dont think its really illegal to have a video embeded on your site but it is if you host the actual file.

Either way you always have to monitor your videos because many are being taken down each day due to copywright infringment.

Try doing Lead-Generation with PPC. Works great and is 100% white hat.
