Thought I would share this for people who are struggling or havent seen results yet...may be worth a shot.

Exactly one year ago on Oscar night (tonight) I created something like 5 videos per celebrity for 5 of the most mentioned female celebs based on what they were wearing...ie best dressed, worst, most notable dressed

I posted to Youtube and the traffic I received over the next few days pretty heavy. I think I monetized with an incentivized victorias secret email submit with like $1.50 payout or something like that. Made like $200 total or something like that. Just 100% iframed or redirected to offer from my domain

NOTE, be sure to abide by rules of the offer and copyright type stuff.

Hope this helps some of the struggling new CPAers out there. May be worth giving it a shot

Hey Kenster,

Great tip for all CPA marketers, I have used youtube video traffic myself to cash in with CPA offers in various different niches and I think its a great method for all people who are struggling to make their first dollars in CPA, as this is how I made my first dollar in CPA marketing, and still a strategy I use today.

Hey mr.forex,

There are a few ways you could present your affiliate link or domain url:

1 - Put your affiliate link/ domain in the description box to the particular video

2 - Have your actual link in the video e.g. at the bottom of the video where viewers can clearly see it.

3 – Use a watermark feature over the video so that viewers can see it.

4 – Use the annotation feature on YouTube to grab the viewers attention and inform them that they can e.g. get a free so and so by clicking on the link in the description box.

To all others with similar questions, I've found it much more easy, faster and less annoying to other members, just to copy and past the term you don't understand into the Google search bar!

No, it was just a quick test I did, maybe took 30 minutes. Just made a bunch of quick vids and posted them right before the awards started.

Remember to find an offer that will fit your demographic and work the offer into the videos via a text slide or something.

The point of this thread is that you can get traffic tonight for the Oscars or for any event and monetize the traffic spike with CPA offers. You dont have to figure out exactly what I did, and honestly I dont remember exactly what I did haha. So just think creatively for a few minutes, then get down to business putting your ideas to work. Then cash in.

Hope some of you report some good results in the coming few days.

You can get even more mileage by researching the major summer blockbuster movies coming soon.

Just use a Poll question format landing page asking a question about the big Movie....then hit them with a hot offer.

Thanks, glad you liked it. I have decided to cut down on my email and pm to once a week at best. Trying to live by some of the principles in the 4 Hour Work Week. A wonderful read for everybody, I would highly suggest it.

Yeah, there are always many roadblocks whenever anybody builds campaigns no matter what experience level. Need to train your mind to put in even more work when you hit a roadblock not less.

Video is extremely easy though so hopefully that is working for you!

I've been doing video marketing and never had any good results - until recently - when I put up a video that was 'timely and newsworthy.' While my typical videos have 10-100 views, this one is currently at 10,000.

Think about upcoming events, get a video prepared, link it to a campaign and stand by to PULL THE TRIGGER.

That's what I'm going to do.

Hmmm, for any trend campaign, especially with video, you need a good catchy possibly controversial title. That gets the massive amount of views.

Next is coming up with a good way to tie in your offer with the video.

For the oscars you can have a title like SANDRA BULLET WORST DRESSED AT 2010 OSCARS GROSS UGLY, I have no idea if this is true or not, but its the kind of title to get noticed.

Then you can pick an email submit like victorias secret. As your lead in you can say something like. "Sandra bullet had an ugly dress but hot panties. Yours free at vicsecretgiftcard.com. Good for 24 hours after Oscars" This will give some urgency.

Anyway, get on the next big event and see how it goes. Remember, the internet is global so there are huge events every single day if you look hard enough.

Yeah, the first order of business is getting the views and titles can be stupid, crazy, whatever. You need the views to get anywhere.

I have no idea but there are 195 countries in the world (and on the internet) so there is undoubtedly something going on every single day. Dont take me too literally here. The point is that there is plenty of stuff going on to take advantage of events like the Oscars. You don't have to wait another year to try this out. You can do sporting events, social events, hot trends, whatever

Yeah Laurence, I mean when I did this last year, I think I just did iframe. For something unlike the Oscars where the traffic may be heavy for at least a week, yeah it may make sense to have an actual landing page.

There are many ways to go around it. Some people use Animoto (I think I did last year for the Oscar test) some use powerpoint, some use flip video to shoot a quick review.

And the copy or content as you say is very important. People watching videos are normally in the mood to be entertained, they dont want to buy anything or fill anything out. So its tricky trying to convince people to stop what they are doing and click through to your offer.

This is where the creativity comes in. Come up with maybe some lead up phrases that get the video watcher really interested in what the heck you are even talking about. Make the process of them clicking through to see what you mean entertaining. Make them want to say "what the heck is this video talking about, sounds interesting, let me see what its all about"

BAM they click through to your offer, fill it out and you smile! Maybe its not THAT simple haha

You can put your link in an annotation that appears during the video PLUS I have mine over the frame that the video shows in. You set that up while your recording.
