Default I Have A PPV Banner Now What???

The past 2weeks I've made ALOT of banners on my Adobe Photoshop/fireworks. All of them 750x550 because I'm using MediaTraffic. But I dont know what to do next! I guess I'm lost as to what to do next because I'm not sure If I need to buy a domain so my banners will show on Mediatraffic OR what?

What kills me is out of ALL the PPV ebooks I've read none of them explain this! They dont explain what you have to do ''behind the scenes'' To set this all up and put it live on Mediatraffic!

You need a hosting account. Then make a .php file on your server with this code.

<a href="http://myaffiliatelink.com"><img src="http://where-my-image-is-located.com/image.jpg"></a>

Then tell media traffic that .php page is the page you want displayed.

Right, you have to host your adverts. If you are going to run a high quantity, be sure to get a fast server. It's ok to start off with a shared server, but you should expect to outgrow it.

So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

Sorry to say this but WHAT THE HELL are you doing? What you need is a solid plan to make money, not just creating ads. PPV = garbage traffic. It comes from malware/spyware and free arcade games websites.

Please dont tell me you just read a bunch of ebooks on how much money someone makes with PPV?

Nick - Sorry, but I have to call Bull**** on your response.

You do not know what you are talking about. CPV traffic is not malware or spyware.

IAMX - You need a domain to host your image ad on. Take the image html provided above and paste into notepad. Save the file as imagead1.html or whatever name you ike as long as it ends in .html. Uploda that to your domain. Your destination URL is what you put in MT.

John

Most PPV traffic has very low quality and doesnt convert. The way these PPV companies GET their traffic is from arcade game sites and sometimes from spyware installed on people's computer, therefore Pay-Per-View. It's **** traffic and doesnt compare even close to proper PPC. Might as well try facebook.

Again, your statements are inaccurate.

Because you and many others don;t know what you are doing with CPV does not validate your statements.

John

ps - Facebook traffic is one of the best traffic sources available - again, if you know what you are doing.

PPV isn't something I just decided to do over night. I did my research and I KNOW there is money to be made with it. Thanks for all the help, I guess I'm still kinda lost as to this .php and what not. So I'm going to call my Account Manger on MediaTraffic and ask him how it can be done. Or maybe I can find a video on Youtube or something.

I'll try to explain it briefly to you.

Create a html file on your local pc . Then open it with notepad and put this code :

<a href="http://yourafiliatelink.com"><img src="yourbanner.jpg"></a>

Change http://yourafiliatelink.com with your link from the cpa network and yourbanner.jpg to the filename of the banner you created.

Then upload the html file your created and the banner to your server.

If your domain name where you uploaded is :
HTML Code:
http://www.test.com
and you named the html file file1.html then the destination url on mediatraffic will be <a href="http://www.test.com/file1.html" target="_blank">
HTML Code:
http://www.test.com/file1.html
Hope this makes sense to you

Again this is not true, do some research before bashing. It's actually called adware which is totally different from malware/spyware.

PPV is one of the best sources for cheap traffic. But, it doesn't work for every type of offer IMHO.

When you set up your campaign, if you are not going to be direct linking, make sure you set up adequate tracking also. I use Prosper202.

Noob alert!

On second thought, do what he says, stay out of FaceBook, stay out of CPV, please. We don't want the competition.

So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

Ok then lol. I'll just pull my bids and let you eat up your budget..

Start carefully on MediaTraffic, until you learn the targeting and bidding system. It's easy to waste good money in the beginning. Until you figure it out, you won't realize what traffic you're actually bidding on (it's not always what you think). It first dawned on me when I saw some strange action in my referrer log.

You'll need your $$ for testing. Test everything, and track it.

Good luck and have fun!
