Offline CPA College Cash?

Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for some offline marketing methods manly referring to college that can make some money?

Im going to college now and I know there has to be a way to cash in some how!

Can we brain storm this a little bit?

When I did flyer marketing I went to college campuses in my area and had a great response.

So yeah, college campauses are great for flyering since there are normally many different flyer boards with many eyeballs viewing!

Zach Booker, is it possible to do this with a Clickbank product too? I mean you can get lots more money than with a CPA lead or trial offer, right?

And how large are your flyers? Where do you hand them off?

Yes on the scholorship flyers...auto insurance flyers, there are places on the net also that will split commissions on all college books sold, tell them to go to your link to get cheap books..i will be hittin up colleges very soon

You can test clickbank products but I would imagine that many college kids would rather try a $4 trial than a $40 clickbank digital product.

Yeah I literally used full or half sheets of bright yellow paper. Response was really good but keep in mind that many colleges refresh flyers boards every so often so you may have to go every x weeks to re-post.

Yep, I did tests with a bunch of CPA offers and CB products. The only CB product that really worked well was surveys. How to pick up chicks was ok.

Yes male products like get ripped or lose weight work wonders on college campuses and As far as women if you have fliers for gift card email submits like Victoria secrets or UGG boots you will make a lot of money Trust me. Weight loss products for women work also.

I have a guy who does fliers for email gift cards to women in college and every where else also. o man does he bank.

That is so crazy. I wonder how different my life would have been if I knew about this stuff in college, lol.

The conversion rates on this stuff should only get better as more and more people have smartphones and can just enter their info on the spot

Do colleges allow outside advertising in their campus newsletters?

I was going to give offline campus marketing a try but my affiliate manager advised against it because getting conversions from the same local subnet can be flagged for fraud very fast. In other words, the advertiser can't tell if its hundreds of students converting on their offer or if its you running from computer lab to computer lab entering stolen info.

Anyone with experience with this know how to convince your AM let you give it a go?

Try a different network. One of them will eventually let you do it. Looks like Dandingo is one of them...

Anything scholarship related works well. If you can organize people as your affiliates the possibilities are endless. Free ipads and iphones and laptops of course. Flyering works great. Print up a bunch of business cards for cheap, put them in the financial aid office (with the card directing to your scholarship offer).

I may not have tried the right program but I will tell you that FastWeb's pay per lead program was a big disappointment to me in the year just past. Not only did the interest of students seem to go way down, but FastWeb went down to .80 per lead

We've actually been wondering if we should start our OWN leads program related to financial aid. It was a perennial draw in years past.

You can always tell your AM you will just send a little bit of traffic to the offer and then ask him/her to check to see how the advertiser likes it. You can even rotate many similar offers and send a little to each offer.

At the end of the day, even if all the leads are from the same household, so long as the advertise is converting and making money on the backend, they wont care about geo location of leads.

Worst case, set up a middle lander so its not directly offline --> cpa offer. This step will likely decrease conversion, but increase lead quality and thus satisfy the merchant

I did a campaign like that...it was a twofold flyer....female targeted offer on one side and male on the other. Work pretty well!

Or craigslist...that's the most effective way I found to scale flyering efforts!
