Just a quick not to people who freak out at getting accepted into CPA networks.

I had a nice talk with a really nice affiliate manager and got accepted, started straight away and have already made some cash.

Stop putting your own conceptual barriers of entry into starting CPA in the form of excuses and just do it.

If you want to ask anything then go nuts, I'll keep checking back to see if you have any questions.

I experienced the same thing (acceptance at least). Got acceptance into 3 in 2 days so far (MaxBounty, Affiliate.com, Clickbooth).

Do you have previous experience in CPA marketing? If experienced, what areas do you prefer? Which verticals are the easiest (if there is a such thing) for newbies? What type of CPA offers also are the easiest (zip submit, email submit, lead gen, etc)?

I'm having a difficult time trying to find offers that actually make money (doing the numbers assuming a 1% conversion rate).

What hours are affiliate networks available on the phone? I'm thinking of applying to my first network online tonight and calling after, but I'm not sure if someone would pick up the phone and approve me at that time.

ive known theory of cpa for ages and paid to learn alot of great info, only just implementign it now.

If you want some quick cash then email submit converts well - i got my first submit in 7 clicks of starting.

Its good to build a targeted niche list from a website or capture page so you can sell to them over and over again, doing dime sales and thing like that.

What do you mean by verticals? Im English so maybe a jargon conflict lol

It depends where the network is based, Maxbounty is in Canada and should say on the website. Gl and let us know how you get on.

Piece o cake right. I think that's whats frustrating sometimes to me about people freaking out about getting accepted. It takes like 2 minutes and I guess Im the type of person to just get stuff done and worry about it after so I go crazy when I see people stressing for a week about applying. Just get er done!

Thanks for info. When you say targeted niche list from a website, do you mean create a site where you capture emails?

Probably a jargon conflict, I'm Southern American :-). By vertical, I mean industry (auto insurance, gift cards, life insurance, dating, education, etc.)

Affiliate.com is located in CO and the phone number is listed on the website. I called the guy at 6pm EST. Steve Holmes is correct about MaxBounty (they answered the phone for me as well).

Yes, or create a themed website that you want to rank organically and give something away for free in return for a name and email. This is something i would do if something seems to convert well and you think its a low competition keyword - more long term obviously.

I guess the vertical would depend on what you are offering, as long as it's relevant. Just ask what you think the end user would want in conjuction with what you are promoting, make it slippery.

I want to stay away from organic seo for the moment unless i find something worth doing, direct traffic is pretty fun

Just applied to Neverblueads last night. Took a nap then called back when I woke up. Even flatout told them I had no experience and that this was the first network I applied to but talked on and on about SEO and PPC to drive traffic...instantly approved
