Driving highly targetted traffic

Hello all,

I have a site with a CPA offer in the auto insurance niche. This is my first CPA offer site. I get paid per click based on the quality of traffic that I bring in. I started doing some article promotions but I know that there is only so much traffic that I can bring in through article marketing as there is a lot of competition for keywords in the auto insurance niche. What other markeing techniques would you recommend in driving highly targeted traffic to a pay per click offer? Youtube, twitter, free classifieds etc.? I would greatly appreciate your input.

There are tons of other ways to drive traffic to offers, are you looking for free or paid techniques?

First I want to explore all the free options and then paid.

If you're out of work, you might want to focus on getting income from what you're good at first, and then tinker around with CPA. Check out all the freelance sites for developers (odesk, elance, freelancer, guru, etc). That should give you several opportunities to bid on projects...

Then what you might want to do is find some of the CPA marketers on this forum and offer you development skills. Marketers are always looking for scripts/apps to make them more productive, or creating and launching a product. You could barter with them to trade your development skills and get to REALLY know CPA marketing.

I don't really have any skills that I could use for freelancing in the internet marketing arena. Maybe outsourcing some marketing such as forum posting, articles submission might be a good idea. I'm looking for marketing techniques that have good conversion in CPA.

If you have experience with article marketing, you can actually rewrite your articles and do Press Releases. With a unique relevant and fresh title you can get hundreds of hits daily just like me! Hope this helps. And you get approved faster, not like with some article directories.
