Default Acceptable Forms Of Traffic For Offers...?

Hey Gang,

I had a quick question that I'm hoping a more veteran marketer can answer.

After going through a couple of guides on CPA marketing and getting an understanding of PPV traffic, I was wondering when it is acceptable to use PPV (Downloaded Software that has pop ups like mediatraffic and trafficvance) for offers.

Let me explain a little bit more...

I obviously can look at an offer and see what types of traffic it accepts but in the couple of guides and courses that I've gone through, I get the impression that even for offers that don't explicitly say that they allow DLS traffic, if I were to create my own landing page and filter the traffic through that way then it is acceptable because at that point the traffic is coming from my site and not a DLS source.

So, by filtering traffic through my own landing page, does that traffic then become "web" traffic and then become an acceptable form of traffic for any kind of offer?

I hope that's clear and I would absolutely love it if someone could clear that up for me :-).

Thanks Warriors!
