The value of the email is entirely dependent upon the niche'. Look at what the related keywords are bringing on Google. Take about 50% of the #1 position bid and you've got a starting place. As always, remember your mileage will vary.

I'm confused...are you going to pay someone else to capture emails for you?

Yes we are looking at paying people based on how many emails they capture

Aha! Okay. I don't know.

I would just be careful that you are getting targeted people signing up with their emails. How is this company going to get you emails? By offering nude pictures of Brittany Spears if they sign up? Obviously I'm being fecetious... but paying by the email? Sounds scammy to me.

Depends how big you want to go. The best way to get huge volumes would be to join an affiliate network. This will cost you $XXXX-$XX,XXX with most of the decent ones, you would expect to pay around $1.50 per submit, but you would also get 1000s of new emails every day.

Need help selling your website? Don't trust Flippa?

Ya I agree with Thomas here for the most part. However, a lot of strong networks will allow you to do a test of 100-200 submits which will only cost you $200-300 in most cases. You can judge quality and see if you're backing out properly at that point.

Typically when you do it this way, they will give the offer to only one of their affiliates, typically a mailer, to send it out and see what kind of response it gets. It's negotiable anyway, that's how I have started out when working with networks.

Yeah i'd be careful with this. Another route may be to buy a couple email blasts from some company that you can rent their lists from. Less headaches, once you get on the other side of the fence, it's a real eye opener.
