CpaLead Tease Time

Hi guys,

I joined CpaLead a week ago, and have recently begun to make my first amount of money due to Iron Man 2

Anyways, my website is made so that the user can watch the movie when they complete a survey. I hear that putting a little bit of tease time tends to convert a bit better because people know that you have a legit copy of the video so they will be more inclined to complete the survey. Well, I've been trying to use this tease time, but I seem to have a problem. I can implement the tease time perfectly fine like the gateway will pop up after a minute or so. The problem I'm getting is that after the gateway pops up, the movie continues to go on without stopping. I was wondering if there was any way to make the movie pause or something like that when the gateway pops up. Any help is appreciated.

Well I was trying to figure out the same thing a few days ago but if you're embedding from another host which I think is the case I'm pretty sure you can't do anything.
If it's the actual movie you can set the widget opacity to maximum so that they can't see anything and I think they would still complete it. It's good to let them see that the movie is actually there, this definetly increases conversions.
Just curious but how much did you make with this?

i set the tease time on 0 seconds so they will not bypass the gateway by click on the links.

Well I put up a video about Iron Man 2. Made around $30 in 3 days which is pretty good for a starter like me. Too bad some newb reported my video as spam and got it blocked. Now I have to wait for Robin Hood to come out -_-
And if I understand what you're saying, put maybe a tease time of about like a minute or so and then get the gateway to pop up but put opacity on max so they can't see the video and then hope they complete video? Anybody tested to see if this works?

Intresting post i would love to see the site in question but anyways

i usally set mine on my tv sites to a few seconds which is pretty effective the viewer would be able to see around 25 seconds of the video on some of my sites before it is blocked and sadly also i do not know of any way to stop the video from playing while cpalead starts the gateway.

What video got blocked? Were you advertising on youtube? I understand you didn't have the actual movie on your site. You could get it from sites like movshare or vidreel and stream it, it will help and the leads will be pleased if you offered the real content.

Yes I was thinking that if you have the real movie and they can hear the sound on the background with the gateway on who wants to see it will definetly complete the survey.

I was advertising on youtube that was what was making me all of my money. I actually did have the full movie streamed onto my website. I just put up a video on youtube titled 'Watch Iron Man 2 Part 1/13' and in the video I just put that the video was taken down due to copyright issues but it could be found on my website in the description.

And I think that showing some of the content and then blocking it might work out. I'll try it with a T.V. show tonight and see if I get some leads.

What hosting are you using? These sites can go down pretty fast because of copyright laws. I'm interested in a good hosting for this.

Wow.. you guys are lucky to made money on Iron Man 2.

I also put up a youtube video then a link back to my site. I actually offered a streaming full movie on my site that they can really watch. I put a 3 min teaser time on Part1 then they have to complete the survey to continue watching.

Unfortunately, I didn't made any money. I have some clicks but none converted to leads.

I dont know how my freelancer sticks my videos for 2-3 days. Thats way i M getting visitors , around 200-300 visitors per video before it deleted.

Aah so you're using a freelancer to post vids for you. I see. Well yes, could you pm me some info about you're freelancer. I would really like to check out his work. I am a little short on cash right now, but maybe a little later I might hire him and see how using a freelancer might work out in the long run.

I'm also noticing right now that the surveys on Cpalead for the U.S. really suck at the moment. Almost every survey requires a person to confirm their phone number. There are only 2 that don't require this but they are the low paying offers($0.50 per lead). I didn't have this issue before and my earnings are suffering as people don't want to do the phone number surveys and so they just complete the low paying easier to complete offers. Anybody else having this type of issue?

Oh, I think this is the reason why I haven't got any leads. Surveys are surveys but why ask for a mobile number at the end?

Advertisers are getting mischievous these days. It should be classified as mobile offers!

Yeah I found this out when I went to a website and got hit by a Cpalead offer. I tried to do one of them, but all of them that were enabled asked for my mobile number at the end. It's really annoying now... hopefully they give better offers later on.

I just set the thing on 0 - most people are just anxious to see the video at that point anyway.

My problem is low conversions - less than 1 in 10. Need a lot of traffic to make $$$
