I have an earnest question, so I hope this isn't taken the wrong way. Are there any services or individuals to whom the process of getting into various CPA networks can be outsourced? I have no problem with hard work, but there is an opportunity cost to everyone's time. If there is a service that has a soup to nuts package of setting up a site, the application process, getting in etc., I would love to know about it. Or you can offer your opinion. Thanks |

To start - do a search, there are hundreds if not thousands of posts with people asking the same question and there are probably about 10-20 posts dedicated to showing people exactly how to get accepted to networks No offense, but the hard work needs to start now |

Hi Affiliit, No offense taken I work plenty hard, but we all outsource and delegate items when it makes sense. I just thought based on the apparent demand from the number of people asking that there may be someone out there offering a turnkey solution. Thanks for the tips! Ren |

Getting into CPA Networks is really simple and here is my step by step process: 1. Download Skype and get some skype credit 2. Call the CPA Network during there office hours and ask to set up an account 3. When they ask you for information tell them you are an email marketer with a double-opt in, niche targeted and geo-targeted email list of 80,000+ emails 4. They will ask how you gather these emails - to that tell them that you use opt-in offers and memberships sites; if they ask to seem them kindly tell them you are sorry but you don't share these sites as you've had CPA Networks steal them in the past 5. They will ask your niche - tell them! 6. They will ask how you promote the ads in your emails, tell them you feature each week products or sites that you found helpful and for each one you create a splash advertising page that you redirect your users too. Once again if they ask to see it, give them the same answer as before. 7. They will ask what software you use (if any) to distribute your software and run your lists - tell them you use Aweber 8. They will ask how much experience you have and if you have worked with any other CPA Networks. Tell them you have 3 years experience and then list any 4 large CPA networks that you "worked with" 9. They will ask if you are familiar with the CANSPAM act and quiz you on it a bit - basically it is what you can and cant do legally with email marketing; so do read up on it I will not provide a summary as you really need to know this. 10. At that time let them know that you include opt-out links in every email sent and run the compression lists three times a week. 11. They will probably also ask when you send out the lists - best answer to tell them is either saturday at 1PM, or Thursday at 4:30PM peak times for readers to make conversions - other times work just try and avoid times when your user wont be soon on the computer such as if your target is a teacher and its 9AM on a monday. Hope this helps any questions feel free to pm me Cheers, Bruce |

I'm in Neverblue right now and when I was trying to get in, instead of going through the whole online application process, I just called the network. I ended up speaking with the person who would eventually become my AM (awesome guy btw), and he just asked me some basic questions about my marketing strategies and how I would be promoting offers. I talked about CPV, PPC, and media buys and he approved me instantly, right over the phone. It was THAT simple. So, in my opinion, just be honest and give them a quick phone call. Hope that helps! There are many useful posts about getting accepted on this forum, just make a quick research. It's very simple and in one day you can get accepted by 4 or 5 networks easily. William |

My advice: just be honest on your application process. Networks will accept you if you're honest, even if your a newbie.

Exactly. This is spoken from a guy who owns a CPA network (I believe). They aren't looking for just superheros, they are looking to weed out the dishonest marketers who will bring them a bad reputation with the advertisers, other publishers, etc. They are fine with people who are newer to the game, they just want to know that you are motivated to learn and grow. Newbies can hit gold very quickly if they work hard and networks know this. They are really trying to weed out the bluefarters and people who dont want to put in the work! | |

I appreciate everyone's advice and willingness to help someone new to the CPA world. It's nice to see that there are so many on this forum that remember being a newbie and give back. I hope to help someone else out like this in the future. Thanks all! I'll give it a shot and get back to you with my results. |

This is all good advice as long as no one checks up on all the stuff you said. . . and it has been my experienc that they do check at some point. Honesty is always the best policy in my opinion - still if the account manager is too busy I guess this will work?

I've had this question for some time now. Most guides to getting accepted to CPA networks tell you to tell the AMs that you're gonna do PPC,PPV, e-mail marketing with a huge list of double opt-ins. Well, what if I don't plan on doing this. I've been staying away from a lot of networks because all I do is I work my ass off trying to get free traffic to my offers....although I still don't make a lot. I go to the Neverblue signup page....then back off. I go to the EWA signup page....I back off again. I'm scared of getting rejected for not spending money on advertising. Don't networks like people who're using their brains trying to figure out new ways to get free traffic? |

Thanks for all the responses - here is my update... I generally go the honest route and I did yesterday with MaxBounty. I used the tips provided in this forum, a WSO I purchased, and I kept it real. I presented myself professionally, was quite well spoken, and had a nice chat with the affiliate manager assigned to me. The AM asked me about my site in the relationship niche - I explained it to him. He then asked me about my experience with PPC which is extensive and which I explained. He asked me when I could begin a campaign - I told him as soon as I get approved, I look forward to starting. I then received a one sentence rejection email from Maxbounty about 30 minutes later with no explanation. I emailed back for an explanation to improve my efforts in the future - no response. I think if you are in a service industry (which they are), and have interest in your business as a going concern (with the constant changes in internet marketing, federal regulation etc etc.), it's in your best interest to keep good relations with both existing and potential clients. I ran a business for years and I know that one day you can have 10,000 customers and the next your competition can scoop them up or a change in rules can change your business model completely. In my limited experience with CPA's, I've been left with a bad taste in my mouth. On a slightly humorous note, getting rejected reminded me of that scene in Knocked Up where the girls get rejected by the doorman. "Who are you Doorman? Doorman, Doorman, you're just a doorman!!!" I know the AM's not a doorman, so don't be sensitive if you are one! ![]() I'll lick my wounds and try again in a few days... |
