Hey all, As I am still VERY new to this I'm still testing out. I have become a member of around 10 networks (a little less probably), but I ain't using all of them. I want to mainly do mobile advertising via admob, and I have found it that many networks doesn't have mobile optimized offers, so that means that I use these networks even less. However I am still glad to be a part of them as I always want to have as many opportunities as possible. So have you guys heard of people being kicked out of networks once they're already in, just because they don't use the network very often? Cheers |

Sure you can, sometimes they can pause your account , or just deactivate it. Although I signed up for some networks and have gone over a year without any commission activity and still am active. |

Some networks have an automated system that if you do not log into your account for a period of time it will deactivate your account.

I signed up for some networks and have never used them. However, all my accounts are still active. William |

I've had quite a few accounts deleted. Also many companies in CJ will boot you for no activity.

If thrown out, how difficult is it to rejoin the network?

Was anyone affected by the recent Hydra move? I heard they booted 90% of the inactive accounts...

In my experience, most networks won't deactivate you if you are inactive for short periods of time. They are in the business of making money, so if you show them that you are at least TRYING to send traffic to an offer or two, you should be fine. There are some networks that are just looking to get as many affiliates as humanly possible, regardless of quality, so those are the ones who are going to be a little more lenient with inactivity. So to be safe, I would keep at least one offer running in each network. That's a good way of finding out which offers work with each network too! So look at it as testing the network, not as running a campaign just for the sake of not being deactivated! Hope that helps! Best of Luck, CPABrainstormer | |

Thanks to everyone for the replies. I actually like what CPABrainstormer is saying so I think I'll do it that way. While we're talking networks; Does anyone know of some good networks that has a bunch of mobile optimized offers? I only know of Sponsormob, and I don't find their offers too attractive (they mainly have things people need to purchase, and I prefer just having people to type in some sort of information - this is for mobile marketing of course)..? Thanks again, I feel like I can learn a whole lot from this place! |

I think Azoogle and Convert2Media has many mobile offers. Known offers such as Funmobile, Ringtones, but I'm not sure if mobild and ringtones offers still converting well vs in the past.

I'll be sure to check out Convert2Media. I've found that Azoogle doesn't have a lot of mobile offers though. Also, when I find a mobile optimized offer can I then be sure that the offer will appear properly on non-smartphones? I mean sure it looks perfect on my iPhone, but how do they look on older phones? I don't wanna waste to many clicks

i would imagine a network would be happy to keep someone they have already screened in their network. It might be be that someone is just promoting another offer on a different network successfully - that person may then decide to promote one of their offers and make alot of cash doing so. |

I personally would never crop an affiliate out for inactivity, I believe people chose to come back over time. Other networks do crop old accounts out though.
