Default My First PPV campaign

It is my first campaign with cpa offer .
It's second day of my campaign for "dating service".I decided to test it using DirectCPV service.Direct link to advertiser page.
Day one : target -70 domain ,$20/day ,fix bid -0.02.
Result - 1004 clicks , action -0.
Best : 1. aaa.com -288 clicks, 2.bbb.com- 184.
My actions : cut to 36 target domain, raise bid on most "good" targets which moved me to 1 or 2 position.
Day two : 36 targeted domain ,$20/day , median bid - $0.036 .
Results : only 105 new clicks !
Best : 1.aaa.com - plus 35 clicks , bbb.com -plus 6 ,3.ccc.com- plus 37 clicks.
What I'm doing wrong ? What I can do to change it ?

sounds like either your targeting is off, of the offer is no good. Keep in mind, that diff dating sites target diff demo's, so you might be targetting a younger demo, with an offer that only converts for young adults. Also are you rotating offers, or just using one? You should rotate at least 3 diff offers, when your testing things out, because you never know what will work and what won't

Harro1,
yes, I agree ,that can be one of reasons ,mainly for not getting leads after clicks. My biggest concern tough is almost 90% decline in clicks on second day.I can agree for 40-50%down (same cap on budget ,almost 90% more cpc) but not so much.
Thanks for your comment .

Tim,
thanks.I'm pretty sure that demo is ok for that offer.I check almost all of targets.
Yes ,I fully agree that rotating offers can give me better results. The thing is ,I do not know how to do that (yet).I'm totally "fresh" in that but I learn day after day, and besides , I can see that there are people who are willing to help. That is the most important. So, thank you Tim

You are right Affiliit. My target url's are 90% from that verical.I put that campaign on hold and start with another one (dating too) but that time with url's and keywords.
But in regards to my first offer what surprised me and left without a clue is dramatic drop in "clicks" even I raise my bid .

The results in your first post are for AdBrite or for DirectCPV?

I couldn't agree more, generally everyone's first impulse is to target other dating sites - this generally does not work well!

Like Affiliit said - get out of the box!

Once again, I agree with that opinion, that is why I stopped that campaign and spent Sunday looking how to get out of the box

Are you targeting general URLs? Like eharmony, plentyofish, etc? You need to dig deeper into those URLs. I know it is very time consuming, but it's worth it.

my personal experience with adbrite is very bitter. even though you mention your targeting, they send you wring kind of traffic!

i rather find adwords better use of money.

Stats provided in my initial post are from DirectCPV.Like I said,I put that campaign on hold.Yesterday started another on (dating too),with some general url ,but not so well visited (got 40 clicks and 0 leads).Another 10 bucks is on same offer but with "keywords".With my bid for kw ,mostly I'm on 1-3 position. Results : 0 clicks ,0 on dream side.
AdBrite ,that's another story. Waiting for approval of my first campaign from 05/14.
Any advice about better choice like AdBrite ?

I was referred to Adbrite just today by someone on WF that I trust. Can you tell me what problems you had with them, and what results you got, if any.

Thanks

Yesterday I cancel my account with them.Long time to waith for campaign approval, low quality of traffic (but that could be my fault too).Just try and its very possible that your experience will be much ,much better. Good luck !
