This is great. Would you agree in general that creating full content-rich sites is a better way to go in AM than random landing pages?

Yes, but it also depends upon how much time you want to devote to your individual website(s), demand for the product offers, etc. I've found that some affiliate products don't require as much effort as others. Try different methods and do what works for you |

I'm more interested in sustainable revenue, so I'm investigating possibilities for sites that create more sustainable traffic. For a site like the one you mentioned above, would you recommend keeping it as an "info site" with articles etc or do you think its better to create a community? Thanks, Alex. |

I don't make recommendations on whether one method is better than another as I personally use a wide variety of techniques in my affiliate marketing. There are simply too many variables when promoting affiliate offers - my tutorials are intended to offer some motivation to get people started doing something, not expert advice or a complete step-by-step flowchart. I am a firm believer that most personal success formulas probably won't work for the next person, due to a wide variety of differences - time commitments, personality, work ethic, technical knowledge, etc. - that's why it is important that we just get started and take things from there. One can always change or modify their methods. With the home improvement niche you can setup a forum, paid membership site, e-commerce type of site, review site or whatever. Again, the possibilities are endless. |
