Just Made My First $$!!! It Feels Real Good!!!

I've promised myself that I would immediately post in this forum when I make my first $ online. I owe Mike Morgan, Kenster, my AM and Lead Impact a HUGE thanks!!

Okay, so I run ppv campaign with Lead Impact (GREAT network by the way!) literally a couple of hours ago, and now i just made my first $ online. The offer pays $15 dollar. Not bad at all. I lost actually, but it really doesn't matter!

For those of you who have just started, keep on going! It took me 6 months playing with ppv, to make my first $.

And always find out why something happened. Why you made money here or lose money there. Answering the why will take you places in CPA!

Congrats on the first conversion! Lead Impact is a great CPV network so keep trying different offers with them! Right now, I'm running an auto insurance offer (pays out $10.50) and a credit report offer (pays out $22) on Lead Impact and I'm getting, on average, 2 conversions from each per day. So, if you haven't already, try promoting offers in these 2 niches as well! Keep at it and great job!

Why are you getting only 2 conversions per day? Are you not pushing the traffic enough?

This is just how I go about optimizing my campaigns. I take it VERY slow at first and feel out how the campaign performs. If I see that I'm getting consistent conversions on the same set of keyword phrases or URL's, then I am confident enough to ramp it up.

But right now the conversions are on such random keyword phrases that I'm not to the point where I know that my larger investment will pay off. But I'm hoping that in another week or two the campaign will start showing some more consistency.

I know that you use tracking202, but have you ever used Lead Impact tracking script? They don't seem to track which keywords that are converting, dont they?

I'm planning to use tracking202 instead, but that means I have to grab new URL for my landing page destination. The thing is my landing page size has been altered by them, it's not the usual 800*600 dimension, and I'm afraid that if I changed the landing page URL, the size would change back to normal.

Definitely! And most newbs do nothing and expect money pouring down from the sky. They bought tons of WSOs and let it rotten in their desktop.

Edward,

The two are basically one in the same. Finding the right campaign involves optimizing the campaign which is the real work ofbuilding a campaign. Optimization involves, split testing, weeding out the bad keywords, and expanding on the good ones.

In general, even the optimization isnt Hard per say. Its a lot of work and tremendous amount of organization involved, but its not really that difficult of a process, just time consuming.

Exactly, two similar yet very different strategies.

Rinse and repeat exactly what you did will multiply profits.

Scaling the already built campaign will multiply profits.

Scale and then rinse and repeat the optimized campaign and exponentially mutiply your profits.

Sorry guys, been really busy with the campaign. Just a quick update, the first campaign, which I made my first dime was not profitable at all. So I stopped promoting that offer. In the last 3 weeks I've been testing new offer, which I find quite profitable. I made consistent 1-2 conversion on the first week, 2-3 conversion on the second week, and 4-5 conversion on the third. Today I got 8 conversions. I find my conversion rate quite high on the weekends.

Thx a lot mate. Just a little more update, turned out I made 12 conversions today. It quite funny how it happened though, i thought I had reached my budget, but it turned out I still had $10 budget on the campaign, and from that $10 I made another 4 conversions, each conversion worth $22.5!

Sorry guys, been really busy with the campaign. Just a quick update, the first campaign, which I made my first dime was not profitable at all. So I stopped promoting that offer. In the last 3 weeks I've been testing new offer, which I find quite profitable. I made consistent 1-2 conversion on the first week, 2-3 conversion on the second week, and 4-5 conversion on the third. Today I got 8 conversions. I find my conversion rate quite high on the weekends. Best of luck, Edward

Edward...thats great progress man, 8 conversions today is great! Always ask yourself why is this happening, why is that happening. As you answer these questions, this is the most basic form of optimization. Find out why something is helps or hurts. Keep in touch bud!
