Hi Guys,

Just thought I would share my results from a little project I just tried out focusing on human emotions and 2 of those 7 Deadly Sins, namely Greed and Envy .

Basically it cost me $5 for 2 domain names that I popped a couple of Redirects on, threw in a couple of paragraphs on a Social Networking site, and Bam 20 mins later I have got $81 in my Affiliate account from this one idea, this has completely bolstered my belief that CPA really does work, the idea I tried was totally on a whim and it worked, now i am thinking if I rinse and repeat this idea there is a massively lucrative market out there to be explored!, I will do some more testing using this method, and if it continues to work, as I am sure it will I'll update you on the results....Gotta love Psychology

Great job, Chris. Psychology really comes into play with CPA offers, especially when you're dealing with the ones that don't require a credit card. It's all a matter of persuasion/presentation and how you offer it (especially if you're redirecting from a webpage that you control), and this will impact conversions greatly (or the lack thereof).

Paulie888 I totally agree, IMO if you can nail the Psychology bit down the world is your Oyster, i'm sure Frank Kern would totally agree with me on that one, after all Mass Control is Psychology in a box ( ok there might be a bit more to it than that, but creating the hunger and desire for something is definately mind driven).

I need to suss out how to put previous ppls comments in quotes, it looks much more professional!, do I just copy it and wrap it in the 'quote' tag?, thanks for the feedback guys its much appreciated

Hi Pana,

I'm not an expert by any means, but I think you can get totally bogged down with everything CPA, try taking it back to basics, I'm assuming you are a member of an Affiliate network, Firstly find a 'hungry' market, this sounds really difficult when you are a beginner, and seems a mammoth task, I know, I have been there...It would be easier to go with a broad market to begin with IMO to test different idea's, with this one it was as simple as Women (not that women are simple by any means) I mean it was a broad market and there are lots of Affiliate products that the Ladies could be interested in, then take a look at the offers and just pick the one you think would be easiest for you to market, but at the same time provide 'good value', it no good selling them a load of rubbish, if you give them a good product they will be good happy customers to market to again! in this case I chose the Bingo offer, it paid $6.23 per lead, as I said earlier english women love bingo, and it was a good offer for them, £10 free to play with, then their choice to continue and put their own money up if they wanted to, all i had to do was get them to sign up for the free tenner!..you also need a means of communicating with your target market, if you are a woman half the battle is won, if not, and you are certain you are providing them with something of value you could switch genders for a little while, not that i am condoning being deceitful by any means, but its worth a shot to give them the great product you have decided to offer, I offered mine as a man, cos men need love and like bingo too! ...If I were to shoot in the dark a little maybe this would work - find a womens market for womens issues, blogs, newsgroups social network groups etc, become a female member, tell them you hate your weight and have a major problem with cellulite or something!, get a good conversation going about it for a few days, then tell your new friends you are going to trial some products and see if they work, you will of course feed back to them, then have a nosey and see which products would solve your imaginary problem, then tell them you have trialled it, give it a week maybe and tell them the results are amazing, go into your sales pitch, but not too over the top, then you have solved a problem for them, this cracking cream that get rid of cellulite (this is just an example btw)..Get yourself a cheap domain name that is as close as possible to the product, redirect it to the offer website (I am suggesting this because this is the easiest way to get started, instead of creating your own landing pages etc, that will come in time as you build confidence), then tell your new friends the URL of your website and away you go, its completely free (other than the domain name) and its a good way to get some experience as a beginner...

I know this is extremely long winded, and I have probably missed allsorts out, so shoot me for trying!, feel free to chip in anyone with some more advice! Best of luck Pana

thanks ergosum is quite good idea, I will give it a try.. but its more for short period I'm looking something that will make me money for long period so I want to invest my time into something that will bring me money for months to come and hopefully years.. right now I'm working on couple of my sites its kind of hard getting them rank even with senuke.. thanks for the tips..

Maybe all the other Guys on here could post exactly how they made their first sales with CPA, it would help all the new guys out and give them some ideas to work with, and adapt them to suit their own way of working, I'm not asking you all to give away your money making secrets, as I am sure you changed and improved tons on the first sales you made, but it really would be a big help...and there's no better feeling than giving something away for free
