Hi, I'm a little concerned about my clickbank hoplinks as I'm pretty sure I've made at least one sale but nothing is showing up in the reporting section. When you choose to promote a product, clickbank gives you a hoplink to use which usually looks pretty random. (like a bunch of random letters and numbers) Yet, I see a lot of places where the format for a clickbank hop link should be xxx.vendor.hop.clickbank.net Does anyone understand what is happening here? And should i use the auto generated hop link or the just manually make it myself? I understand this is not Clickbank help, so thanks for any help you can offer. |

PS. I'm justed worried that any potential sales I could be making are being registered correctly. Thanks again if you have any advice on the matter. |

Clickbank has tracking problems and that's a known fact. The clickbank section of digitalpoint.com is full of such complaints. I really don't think there's much to do about it though.... ________ List Of Mazda Platforms Picture |

Oh right, I see. But would that mean both links would be valid if there weren't tracking issues? |

Yes, of course. But how can you be certain you've made a sale? I'm just asking so I can give you some tips. How many hops did you get and how many order form impressions and and order form submits? ________ CHRYSLER A57 MULTIBANK | |

the "bunch of random letters" is the same hoplink, but simply encoded. Also, how can you "be sure" to have made a sale? Sometimes hops --> sales conversions can be as bad as 300 hops --> i sale. There is really no way to predict actual sales with clickbank. The best thing you can do is check whether your affiliate ID shows at the bottom of the clickbank payment page. |

Thanks. I recommended a friend and they signed up using my link but nothing registered. I did just go and check the bottom of the payment page, and yes, it looks like there is a problem with the link. It just says 'affiliate = none'. Perhaps there is a problem with that particular product. I'll see if there is a way to report this with clickbank as I still want to promote that product purely because I think it is valuable to customers. |

You should always check to see if your affiliate ID appears at the bottom of the page. If it doesn't could be a problem with the link, product or most likely your browser is not accepting cookies correctly.
