Hi All This is a little tip I learned recently - thought I would share it here to help those trying to promote offers that are not in their particular location. What I am talking about here is that many offers through CPA networks specify that traffic must only be from the US or Canada or UK etc, which also often means that if you are trying to promote it & you are not within these locations, you also cannot view the offers as the website can tell that your IP address is not from the targeted geo & you will get a message saying something like "sorry, this offer is only available to US residents". To get around this, all you need to do is to set up your web browser so that it goes through a proxy within the country that the offer is in. There are many free proxy services in all major countries but if you do this often, then I would recommend subscribing to a proxy service - its affordable & the service/response time is much better. Just Google/Bing web proxy service for <insert country of requirement> & you will find many. Hope this helps.. & good luck with your promotions.. Col |

A way to view offers not in your country is to sign up at OfferVault.com where you will also be able to compare the same offers on different networks and see which one give the better payout. New CPA networks are being added all the time and this site gives you a large selection of offers to choose from and if necessary sign up to another network to promote a specific offer. OfferVault enables you to view the advertising campaigns as if you are in that country and gets around the problem without having to resort to other proxies. My own preference is to use a CPA network that allows me to advertise international offers and is not restricted to people who do not reside in a particular country. When you sign up for a CPA network you will have to specify your home address and you would be booted out at that stage. Once accepted, this leaves the problem of viewing the offer if is only only viewable if you are in that country, so then you have to use a proxy set up or you can go to OfferVault and see it there if it is on the list. |
