Being from Boston, you shouldnt have a terribly difficult time at any of the networks. Do your research first on what networks are looking for, etc...lots of good threads here.

MaxBounty is quite an easy network to join. (they approved me! =0 )

I think most call you up though, to ask a few questions. So be prepared for that and you'll be fine.

Max Bounty, for example, was pretty straight forward.

How do you drive traffic to your site?
What are you interested in?
So on and so forth...

No longer...movie sites are dying slowly but surely because advertisers do not want to be on these kind of sites for copyright issues.

Just a question with MaxBounty:

I gather the questions are simple, but what answers do you give if your site is very new? You don't drive traffic (yet).

So generally, although most newbies might know the answers, how would it suit them best to answer the questions, if the stock answers aren't relevant to them (they'd be lying). For example, a newbie can't give the same answers as an established IM'er with regards to past success.

I have nothing of value to add here. But we can't let a signature go to waste now, can we?

Hey,

Fully agree that it has to be EWA without a doubt. In a league of their own. No one else even comes close based to the breadth of offers, payouts and amount of help and attention that you get.

Cheers,

Neverblue was pretty easy to get accepted to and they have a great selection as well as a good payout. They did call me, but most of them do. All they really want to know is if you know what the heck your talking about or not. CPA Networks are a businesses too and they're trying to make money just like you are. They'll ask basic questions to see if you are able to make them any money or not and as long as you have a direct precise plan with how you are going to generate a lot of money then they will be more than happy to work with you. If your website/blog is new then don't mention your site at all, just tell them that you have had great success in the past using PPC ads you primarily want to focus on Pay Per Click.

Your best bet, before you apply to any CPA Network, is to do your research and throughly educate yourself in the CPA field. Your worst enemy is going to be driving traffic so make sure your have a plan as to how you're going to advertise. I've seen a lot of people make a decent amount of money with CPA but very few make the big bucks unless they know exactly how to drive a large number of people to their ads.

If any of you guys need help getting accepted into EWA, all I ask is that you actually take the time to reach out to us. I view applications to networks as a job - we literally get hundreds of signups a day. How many choose to email approvals or me? Very few. Those very few may get accepted.

I'm going to give my opionion without being biased, as for CPA programs, I don't think they are good for beginners in the marketing sense.....see, most CPA programs are for those who make a ton of traffic with a blog or website.......this is because most CPA or affilaite networks shave about 1/4 of your earnings...meaning if you make 4 sales, you probably will only get credited for about 1 of those sales. Most affiliate programs work this way and the reason people still use them is because they can sell goods without worrying about products, inventory, etc.

For a beginner, I would suggest you creating your own product, such as an e-book and selling that. Or, I would look for a PRIVATE affiliate program that doesn't use a third party affiliate network. Some good examples would be Gizelle Fashion Content writing services who offers 20% commission, or you could go to affiliatescout.com and look for affiliate programs that use their own software to track sales.

I dont think I necessarily agree. CPA can be great for beginners because there are numerous methods that are completely free. Even if you aren't driving a ton of traffic, there are many CPA offers that convert very well, so you can still make a good income without dominating traffic.

At the end of the day, shaving happens, more with certain offers and more on certain networks, but just build that into your campaign. Maybe you spend $200 on advertising and get $400 in sales (in theory) but are only credited for $350 in sales. That is still $150 a day profit...not terrible.

Creating your own product is a good way to make money online as well, but there are a host of issues with that as well. Again, the main concern is traffic. If you can generate enough traffic yourself to your product, then you can just as easily drive the same amount of traffic to a CPA offer. Of course you can just plop your product on a digital database and hope affiliates stumble on it and decide to promote it.

But the point is that for every way to make money online there are going to be issues and difficulties for beginners. In my personal opinion, CPA is a phenomenal place for newbies to start because they can see results right away, there are plenty of completely free promotion methods, and it can be done with very little or no technical knowlede needed. Of course this is just my opinion.

Good to know Bryan. And its not uncommon to hear people complain about not getting accepted into a particular network, the important thing is not to worry about it and move on, you can always reapply at a later date.

For people just getting started, don't worry about not getting into every network known to man. Instead focus on getting into 1-2 networks and gradually ramping up your campaigns and learning. Soon enough you'll be established enough to answer any question a network may throw at you and find out its much easier to get accepted.

The second issue people are worried about is talking to the affiliate manager or screener on the phone. Remember, these people's jobs are to help you make money and the more money you make, the more they make. So your going to be staying in contact with them via IM or phone long after your accepted into their network. Durring the call, if your not familiar with something or honestly don't know, don't be afraid to say you don't know. Also, you can embelish a little and overstate your qualifications. They are ultimately sales people and want to hear that you are really knocking it out of the park and have traffic and money to bring to their network. Now don't go too overboard, be realistic and don't say you just signed a million dollar IO with pulse360, when your advertisement budget is $100 a month.

I'm also a beginner (3 weeks) at CPA/PPV marketing and I would recommend LeadImpact, it has served me well so far. They require a $100 deposit to join and give you an option of numerous categories in which to place your ad.

Trafficvance is also good but they require a $1,000 deposit and 2 references to join, so unless you have the deposit, join LeadImpact build up your revenue and then join Trafficvance, because they provide quality targeted traffic.

I have been in IM for about five years now, new to here (hello) and new to CPA until quite recently too.

However I found CX Digital was a breeze to get into, first network, first attempt got accepted, and since then I have joined a host of other cpa networks without any hassle whatsoever.

I would agree with the "join 1-2 network, do the learning curve" etc angle, otherwise you can lost the run of it slightly and gain no traction.

For anyone who is nervous about approaching cpa companies or applying, Markethealth is a good network that anyone can join. Just jump in

But I also already had my business website when I apply for Maxbounty and not with the others, I think these helped A LOT.

Clickbank is a great way to go if you're cool with marketing digital products.

There's no learning curve, and everyone get's accepted so if you're just starting out, it's probably your best bet.

I agree. Clickbank is the default starting place for IM and it's exactly where I started. They accept pretty much anyone and it's a good learning experience to then move up to bigger networks.

lol Ryan, I applied to EWA 2 days ago, got an email today getting rejected for BEING a beginner.

Now, I didn't just fill in the application form and left it at that. I sent an email of approval just like you said above, I stated in fact I was a beginner, but I had the knowledge and capability to do it. (Of course I didn't just say that, it was longer like maybe a page or a bit less, but that was the gist of it)

I got sent an email afterwards by someone else (won't mention name) and he had listed a list of questions for me to answer because I was international, which I pretty much answered in my letter and application. But I answered the questions anyways AND to more detail. I stated what offers I was interested in to show I really was motivated, and I kept going with that and showed I had a plan to market certain offers of theirs if I were to get accepted.

I pretty much read as much as I could on getting accepted into cpa networks, being honest, BUT showing I have what it takes and not some absolute beginner with no marketing knowledge whatsoever, and a website.

I was hoping the honor system (telling to honest truth) and showing my motivation and my website (it's not some blogger blog either) would be enough. I was sure not many beginners would go above and beyond like I tried to do, so I though for sure I'd get in considering you do take on beginners, coming from your post I quoted above.

Haha shucks, could I apply again? Actually just wondering, since I'm new to applying to cpa networks, is there a certain time limit or any restrictions on applying again to a cpa network? I don't want to break any rules or anything.

Peerfly, Cpalead Maxbounty, and ads4dough are all easy to get into. For maxbounty and ads4dough they'll actually have a real person call your number. Just say your going to use adwords / facebook advertising for your campaigns.

Those are all the good ones for beginners. Once you get good with cpa then apply for neverblue. In my opionion they are the best (:

Get accepted to the best CPA Network with the most offers. Check out PeeryFly.com You don't have to speak with anyone on the phone. Just have to call the number they give you, and get an activation number.

MaxBounty was easy to get into, but EWA and ECM had to be the easiest ever!

And EWA has the best selection of offers I've seen.

use skype, its free I talk new zealand to london for 2 years for less than $10, plus cpa companies use it to return calls too. skype to skype is free, and international calls are extremely cheap.

I live in New Zealand and Peerfly has been by far the easiest network to join. Neverblue weren't to bad the second time I applied. I was turned down the first time but I was advised to phone them after applying online. This worked as I was approved within a couple of days.

ClickBank isn't CPA, it's CPS.

Our network approves a good number of applicants. Mainly because we have many direct offers, and also maintain a close relationships with our advertisers. We don't have as many offers as some of the bigger networks (we have around 100-150 viewable), but we work with our publishers to find the offers they are interested in promoting.

Shoot me a PM if you want more information.
