Which Google Image Ads get most Impressions?

While my text ads are getting thousands of impressions per day, my image ads are getting 0-1.

I have the big leaderboard one, the regular 468x60 banner, and the large skyscraper one and they are not getting shown at all, really.

Do the smaller button type image ads get more impressions or are all image ads pretty much dead?

It's looks like 120x600 Skyscraper get the most impressions.

Two tips from the adwords forum for image ads:

"1. CPCs for image ads tends to be higher than text ads. It works something like this: in order for your image ad to show, it has to beat the combined CPCs for the top 3 text ads (because your image ad takes the space of three text ads). So, for example, if three advertisers are each bidding $0.50 for their text ads, you would have to bid $1.51 for your image ad to show. I add: my own numbers are about $0.07 and $0.20, but the ratio holds.

2. Put image ads in their own campaign with their own budget and CPCs. I add: Do this from the beginning. There is currently no way to set a different CPC bid for image ads than for text ads, so since CPC for image ads needs to run 3 times CPC for text ads, they essentially MUST be in separate campaigns. Another annoyance is that ads created with display ad builder cannot be moved from one campaign to another, so put them in their own campaign from the start."

My google image ads I am only paying 0.02 cents a click

I have heard the complete opposite that image ads are much cheaper then text ads,there are plety of wso's explaining how to get 0.01cpc
