Great to know that. Did huge numbers last year in this niche when Adwords PPC allowed. What's working right now on this niche? PPV and some sort of Media Buying I suppose?

I have just been the hard luck with the teeth whitening offers .

I drive traffic using article marketing (Mainly ezine articles ) but unfortunately,it did not works for me .What you suggesting the ideal traffic source for the teeth whitening offers ?

I think my pre-sell page and otehr factors are quite good .

May not apply to everybody here, but it works offline pretty well assuming you can find a network that allows it. Used to push pretty substantial numbers with flyer marketing a long time ago, can't imagine its any different now.

What I love about the teeth whitening offer is that it has a very wide demogrphic interest. Thats why I used it offline where I couldnt demographically target as much when I was first beginning in CPA.

Results were good. No matter what the economy is doing, teeth whitening is always going to be popular. Its like a weight loss offer, but its much more stable because there are many fad diets in weight loss space and no real fads with teeth whitening products.

I think its one of the most under-rated trial niches

As a general rule, if there are multiple types of related offers out there on the networks...SOMEBODY is making money with them.

Maybe try different traffic or just add an extra cup of creativity into your campaigns!

Many networks list their top earning campaigns so thats also a good check on which offers people are doing well with!

I did over 5 million on diet pills.. never touched teeth whitening (i was on vacation traveling south america, just got back 30 days ago). i still got all my sources of traffic lined up, but i hear really bad stories about advertisers losing merchant accounts and not paying bills.

Most likely...for me it has. Its not just the advertisers that tightened up their offers, but also the affiliates as there has been more liability concerns for the affiliate, not just the merchant. Also, many traffic sources tightened their reigns on free trials, so you have to with stricter rules which normally means a decrease in conversion rate.

Overall I like to see everything as an opportunity, not an obstacle. More restrictions means less people are promoting, meaning there is more opportunity in most of the traffic genres.

......just two days ago i did a search on teeth whitening and there was good amount of search volume

and yes i saw an article on Ezines which was submitted in March 2010 AND had just one keyword which did not have a good search volume and still that article has crossed 4000 views.

There is still a lot of potential for teeth whitening, but I must admit its hard finding the right campaigns these days, we have a few teeth whitening campaigns that are doing really well, and a few other free trials.

That is a great point. A lot of the higher paying RFT trials have undergone the same re-work to be more compliant. In many cases this has decreased the conversion but there are still some very strong RFTs.

Either way, always make sure your campaigns have a strategy in place to account for offer being dropped. Even the offers that seem the most stable drop without notice sometimes. Its part of the game, so make sure you have a plan before it happens.

Ken is right I would not write articles to convince people about teeth whitening. Its just too vain a thing to write an article about. People respond to more emotional stuff imo.

When I did my first run with teeth whitening it was offline. I pretended
to be a college student and said I was doing a marketing assignment and
asked if I could leave the free trials in certain beauty oriented places.
The fliers were pretty appealing to peoples emotional sides is all I'll say.

It worked better than I expected.
And it could absolutely be scaled up.

I haven't really had the time to fully explore whats possible with these trials but a few hundred in a day was nothing with this offline method.
