I will be there personally and we will be having a full booth set up for each day of the event.

Looking forward to sharing ideas and shaking hands with some of the warriors that I have connected with, and many others that I have been looking forward to connecting with for quite some time.

For those veterans that are going, any helpful tips for a newbie going? From the outside looking in, there appear to be a few different subcultures within the affiliate marketing world - not sure how "clicky" people are - hopefully everyone is open and receptive to meeting new people as opposed to just partying with their inner circle.

We decided (me and my friends) to go to Norway and try to take a fishing course.

I dont know if I would consider myself a 'veteran' but here are my tips.

1. Be personable. Stay in the corner and you wont get anything out of it. Be all business and you wont get anything out of it. Opportunities (at least opportunities that I have come across) come at weird and interesting and usually unexpected times. If you go on a mission to meet somebody and strike a million dollar business deal, it wont happen. Just be friendly to everbody, not overly serious.

2. Dont be asking for help and special treatment at every opportunity. Be looking to give just as much as receive. If you go into a conversation or meeting looking to get and not give, it will be readily apparent and the opposing party will see right through you. Be natural and dont just be looking to get

3. Personality. When I look for business partners in any capacity, I look for the soft skills more than the hard skills. I want to be able to trust the person im working with, I want to know they are friendly, and cool. I want to make sure they are serious about working hard. If they know everything there is to know about SEO or PPC but I dont trust them or like them, I wont pursue the partnership a second further. Be likable and be yourself and dont just sell your hard skills to people. Sell your soft skills.

The process is an art. Feel it out slowly and like I said, dont be looking to get get get when you go.
