Thank God Finally started making money with CPA offers!

I'd like to share my success story and encourage all the newbies that its possible to make money online, thank God I finally started making money online after struggling for few months. Yesterday I've earned $140 and the day before was $72 dollars which is not that bad, this whole weak has been a blessing. What I would like to say to a struggling newbie is to STOP reading ebooks watching hundreds of videos and actually go and do some work, overall most of the so called internet Gurus barelly make any money themselfs or don't make any money at all, and their ebooks is just a revised copy of someone else. What you need to do is pick a profitable keyword, build a website on it and get it rank. Its not all that hard, but it does require much work, theres no such thing as easy money online beleive me I've probably read more ebooks then you have read books and they're all pretty much the same with slight difference in them.. and let me tell you that 90% of them don't worth a single penny and just a waste of time.. so stop reading and looking for a better and easier way to make money and put in some work.. I will say that I still buy many products and pick up a lot of valuable gems, but I think your advice rings true for complete newbies who tend to jump from ebook to ebook without doing anything.

Products have their place but they can be a curse just as much an investment. Be careful and as the OP suggests, taking action is more important than anything else you will do.

Yeah, I soon realized that I am ten times smarter than these guys writing ebooks. I mean, why would you write an ebook and sell it here for a couple bucks if you really do make as much money as you claim with cpa or affiliate marketing? Think about it guys.

What I did is started actually doing something instead of looking for an easy and fast way to make a buck, I've got one of my sites ranking right now that bringing me around $100 a day and got 15 more registered that I'll be working on as soon as I'll be done with this one..

smolodoy Congrat's on making some cash at last well done.

However I think when you say stop reading that's not a good idea.

I think its better to put a lot of work in but still do some reading. I tend to think its just a matter of getting a good balance to what your doing.

If your flat out just working you may be missing an important trend that is developing or warnings about certain products or networks that are not performing well.

SEO is key for many IMers because once it is set, you just have to maintain to keep competitors at bay. You can't beat it, SEO is king.

May I ask how many searches your kw gets a month based off of Google kw tool estimates?

Didn't expect so many replies, I'll try to answer your questions at the best I can. First of all making money with CPA offers is the easiest comparing to any other way, I've tried clickbank before and had no success with it with CPA offers out of 20/30 visitors I manage to get a convert/sale.

The keyword that I'm going after gets 20k visitors a month set to exact, however the site gets much less visitors then I have expected, its probably because I'm not up top yeat, still working on it. I still haven't found and still trying to find a way/tool to find the exact or atleast a close amount of searches per month for specific keywords and even tried testing it with PPC on google and to my surprise the keywords that had much less searches got alot more impressions and triple amount comparing to the highly searched keywords..

It took me almost 2 months to get my site to rank but I'm still not where I want it to be and still working on it..

I've completely stopped reading ebooks because they're all the same with a lil twist and difference in them, no one is going to reveal you the secret that they might be using to actually make money you can and will come up with your own if you really try, if your really struggling with making money then try this, pick CPA offer, find a keyword for it with low/medium competition write an article for it and build backlinks to it and thats all there is to it, english is not my first language but I'm still doing it some how so you can too.. Great and sensible advice on eBooks smolodoy. But some folks are addicted to research and always reading, reading... so...

Another good piece of advice that I like very much is that for every ONE hour you spend Educating yourself (ie reading, surfing, etc), ensure you spend TWO hours implementing what you learn.

This way you keep up to date AND you get to DO things. And DOing things = success.

You have inspired me to move to CPA. Am a clickbank addict but now its time I moved to the "big" bucks!

I can't stress the need for "FOCUS" and "TAKING ACTION" in this IM business. Smolodoy is right, all ebooks or systems are the same - just reworded/rewritten...common IM's don't you all spin articlesinto ?
How hard would it be to spin several ebooks one comprehensive guide and sell it as your own "system"?

I literally avoid buying ebooks/systems. When I joined IM I was lucky to meet an IM who told me - ...Dennis...you have bought ....(product x -I wont mention the product as it might be against forum rules - am not here to promote any product/system)...please stick with it and do not buy any other system/product until ....(product x) works and you start making money
I stuck with this and I have never regreted!
So Smolodoy is right. Listen to him and follow his tips if you want success!

All infos and tools, that I've used and read literally remained as an experience. 80/20 rule as usual. 80 rubbish, 20 gems. But even 80 rubbish is a gem, because you've been there and don't want to dance on rakes.

The main thing about TAKING ACTION is certainty. And for some people these immense reading saga somehow needed...when aka critical mass has been accumulated, when quantity turns to quality.

Neverending learning curve needs guts to convert into holy grail of what you dream of.

Mistakes are the best way to learn. Too many people try and become experts at something before they try it. Its usually impossible to proceed this way because much of the learning process comes by making mistakes yourself and learning from them. The only way to make mistakes it to dive in and take action.

Action takers are making the money, not necessarily the smartest people

Richard, I like that formula. I have never seen a formula related to action taking versus educating. Maybe I will develop one myself!! Good stuff man

People just need to believe in themselves and their business, then just jump into the mud and start trying to find their ground. After enough swimming in the mud, ground will be found, its only a matter of time. You need to jump in though

Being new to IM I quickly found myself getting pulled in different directions by different gurus and their secrets, and getting off track. Although I have learned a lot in a short amount of time, and will probably need reading glasses soon, from sitting in front of a screen for x amount of hrs reading lol, your post and you guys' replied made me realize that I have to just take action, and learn from mistakes I make, like kenster said.

Now what you want to do is SCALE it up and play where the big biys are at. Start looking at offers with higher margins like UK finance or UK travel. Massive payouts there.

Congratulations on your success. And you are spot on about choosing the right keyword and working on that until you rank high on search engines.

My story is very similar to yours. The day I stopped paying PPC and worked on my SEO was the best day on my IM journey. After all, you can not trust PPC and it is very expensive. In the long run SEO work pays, may be not as quick as PPC but definitely a more stable traffic for a long time.

Most people don't follow the advice in the ebooks they buy to even say if it works or not. They just get mad there is work involved and scream "gurus make all the money

!!!"

Truth is there are so many ways to make money online that practically everything works. Ebooks just compile the information for you and usually have a nugget or two that help you think differently. I check out a lot of ebooks just to follow the writer's mindset. But thats an advanced subject that I see a lot are not getting.

I will say this, I joined a webinar I thought was going to be a crappy pitchfest about a week ago that had a little nugget that created a $xxx/day stream for me.

When you start adding those nuggets up, thats when you really start doing crazy numbers. Regardless of if you like ebooks or not, you are probably losing money not testing out different methods in some of these guides.

And you don't have to buy this and that ebook or webinar either. Some good nuggets I've picked up have come from free content.

very positive news!
I was once reading so much about internet marketing / how to make money online. I've learnt 1001 ways to make money online and actually only find out CPA works most for me and I gave up all other money making methods. I started only focus on CPA only. lol
I still read ebooks and watch videos so gain more knowledge.
of course taking action and not giving up is the only way to make money (not only online).
i was once the people who jump from thread to thread after reading and not taking action.
I gained more confidence by taking aciton

Congrats on your epiphany buddy! CPA is wonderful and you are absolutely correct that taking action is more important than anything else. This is true in offline business, but particularly true with online business like CPA marketing.

There is plenty of money to be made with CPA and I wish you the best of luck on taking a piece of the action!!

Yep, its amazing when you find that one thing that takes off. You can be hovering at 10 bucks a day or less for months and then you do a test and before any optimization its already making $50 a day and with some optimization you get your first multi-hundred dollar per day campaign.

Lay seeds and wait for something to sprout. When you see a sprout, then lay more seeds in that same place and you will see more growth.

Its unfortunate that many people quit before finding that first campaign that does well.

Like you I also focused on clickbank and I have build 2 websites. one of them got ranked pretty good and get some traffic but still no sells...
I'm considering using CPA offers on those web sites but I don't know what kind of offers to choose and where to put them on my web site...
What kind of CPA offers have you use your ranked web page and where did you placed them (side bar, pop ups,direct link)?

Was the woodworking product the Shedplans one? When I first started I was promoting that one and did pretty well. It converts great just hard to get enough traffic to make it a killer campaign. Then again, I was even more of a dummy back then!

Is all of your traffic organic?

So you are now getting visitors to your site, and you want to give them a free woodworking plan if they fill out an incentivized survey?

That can work, or another option is to just give people the free woodworking plan if they sign up for your email list. Then you can build your woodworking niche list and sell to them repeatedly by email.

Another sticky issue is whether the creator of the clickbank product will let you give one of the plans away for free.

Im one of those people who also read and read and read ebooks and they all were pretty much the same.

Most of the info in ebooks that i purchased i found free on forums, that is why ill never purchase another ebook again.

For now on im and action man, no more reading pointless books for info i already know.

Most people on here who havent made a dime have enough knowledge to make great money, just dont know what to do with that knowledge. Put it to action and test, thats the answer as im sure you will find out shortly.

Ebooks are fantastic ways to learn and solidify what you know, cut out costly mistakes, discover new resources etc, but at the end of the day, most people read an ebook for 45 minutes and never do anything with them. Its a shame but its the way it is.

What does it mean for you to take action? Working for a specific time? Or finishing something no matter how long it takes?

What I have a problem with is waiting, lol.
SEO is tricky because you can optimize a website in 1 day, build links really fast but not get any results for quite long. If you build 500 backlinks in 10 days or even more, it would probably take 2-3 weeks to see any results or learn that what you did is not enough or not good. This altogether takes a lot of time and is very frustrating.

Now I do everything 10 times faster then before, but before when I needed 10 hours to finish something I felt good because I though I'm taking action. Well today I do this everything in 3 hours and I'm still not sure if it's enough. The problem with seo is that you can actually do too much :P

Hi Matt,

Its an interesting question you pose. Action in a definition off the top of my head is...putting 100% effort into working towards your goal. Its always keeping forward momentum and making sure every single step you take in the day is aimed at getting you one step closer to your goal.

So, its not just about putting in the time. Its about always trying to improve, become more efficient, more effective, and always doing something to work towards your goal.

Of course I made this admittedly bad definition broad because ACTION will mean different things depending on what you are doing. Taking action in the PPC industry will take on a slightly different form that taking action in the SEO industry.

Either way, I think if you have the mental toughness and tenacity to do anything and everything to get you closer to your goal and work hard and smart to do so, you will be successful, which is the ultimate goal. Just dont EVER become stagnant, idle, or think you are finished unless your goal has been achieved.

What I would like to say to a struggling newbie is to STOP reading ebooks watching hundreds of videos and actually go and do some work, overall most of the so called internet Gurus barelly make any money themselfs or don't make any money at all, and their ebooks is just a revised copy of someone else. What you need to do is pick a profitable keyword, build a website on it and get it rank. Its not all that hard, but it does require much work, theres no such thing as easy money online beleive me I've probably read more ebooks then you have read books and they're all pretty much the same with slight difference in them.. and let me tell you that 90% of them don't worth a single penny and just a waste of time.. so stop reading and looking for a better and easier way to make money and put in some work.. However I think when you say stop reading that's not a good idea. I think its better to put a lot of work in but still do some reading. I tend to think its just a matter of getting a good balance to what your doing. If your flat out just working you may be missing an important trend that is developing or warnings about certain products or networks that are not performing well.

Didn't expect so many replies, I'll try to answer your questions at the best I can. First of all making money with CPA offers is the easiest comparing to any other way, I've tried clickbank before and had no success with it with CPA offers out of 20/30 visitors I manage to get a convert/sale. The keyword that I'm going after gets 20k visitors a month set to exact, however the site gets much less visitors then I have expected, its probably because I'm not up top yeat, still working on it. I still haven't found and still trying to find a way/tool to find the exact or atleast a close amount of searches per month for specific keywords and even tried testing it with PPC on google and to my surprise the keywords that had much less searches got alot more impressions and triple amount comparing to the highly searched keywords.. It took me almost 2 months to get my site to rank but I'm still not where I want it to be and still working on it.. I've completely stopped reading ebooks because they're all the same with a lil twist and difference in them, no one is going to reveal you the secret that they might be using to actually make money you can and will come up with your own if you really try, if your really struggling with making money then try this, pick CPA offer, find a keyword for it with low/medium competition write an article for it and build backlinks to it and thats all there is to it, english is not my first language but I'm still doing it some how so you can too.. Most people don't follow the advice in the ebooks they buy to even say if it works or not. They just get mad there is work involved and scream "gurus make all the money !!!" Truth is there are so many ways to make money online that practically everything works. Ebooks just compile the information for you and usually have a nugget or two that help you think differently. I check out a lot of ebooks just to follow the writer's mindset. But thats an advanced subject that I see a lot are not getting. I will say this, I joined a webinar I thought was going to be a crappy pitchfest about a week ago that had a little nugget that created a $xxx/day stream for me. When you start adding those nuggets up, thats when you really start doing crazy numbers. Regardless of if you like ebooks or not, you are probably losing money not testing out different methods in some of these guides. And you don't have to buy this and that ebook or webinar either. Some good nuggets I've picked up have come from free content.

You can be hovering at 10 bucks a day or less for months and then you do a test and before any optimization its already making $50 a day and with some optimization you get your first multi-hundred dollar per day campaign. Lay seeds and wait for something to sprout. When you see a sprout, then lay more seeds in that same place and you will see more growth. Its unfortunate that many people quit before finding that first campaign that does well.

Is all of your traffic organic? So you are now getting visitors to your site, and you want to give them a free woodworking plan if they fill out an incentivized survey? That can work, or another option is to just give people the free woodworking plan if they sign up for your email list. Then you can build your woodworking niche list and sell to them repeatedly by email. Another sticky issue is whether the creator of the clickbank product will let you give one of the plans away for free.

Hi Matt, Its an interesting question you pose. Action in a definition off the top of my head is...putting 100% effort into working towards your goal. Its always keeping forward momentum and making sure every single step you take in the day is aimed at getting you one step closer to your goal. So, its not just about putting in the time. Its about always trying to improve, become more efficient, more effective, and always doing something to work towards your goal. Of course I made this admittedly bad definition broad because ACTION will mean different things depending on what you are doing. Taking action in the PPC industry will take on a slightly different form that taking action in the SEO industry. Either way, I think if you have the mental toughness and tenacity to do anything and everything to get you closer to your goal and work hard and smart to do so, you will be successful, which is the ultimate goal.
