Default Broad and "Exact" are NOT corresponding... Google position for a KW - please clarify!

I got 1 question for you:

I got a website, named exactly as the main keyword.

Broad search is something crazy: 300,000,000 results,
but exact "keyword" has 147,000 results from the first sight.

(obviously so weird and big difference between broad and exact is due to YOUTUBE word in the key word)

But if you click up to 33rd page of Google there are only 326 results. Google lies, though...

Page 33 of 326 results (0.14 seconds)

and

In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 326 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.

So among 326 results I'm on the 9 page now, i.e. from aka 147,000 results I'm on the 9th page as well.

BUT If I check f.e. here www googleposition com for a position - NO results even among 400 pages, no other option to dig deeper.

So the question - assuming if I'm #1 in "exact" - how high I'm in broad in this case?

Broad and exact results are totally different here. The first page is totally different.

Having in mind, that no one from the prospects will enter "" or [], what are chances to get on the top if I'm #1 among 326 with''' and be the 1st without ''' at the same time?

Thanks.

P.S. In most cases 1st page is similar with "" and without, but here is something weird.

Hey

What you want to do is not GUESTIMATE but TEST it out for yourself. Punch in broad and exact matches in adowrds, create some ads and just let it run. This will then give you a fair idea of how much a click really costs, how good they convert and how much volume you can drive.

Stop using tools or over-analyze ... just let it run and gather some raw data first, THEN you can make a sound decision of whether to continue, increase bids or delete the keywords alltogether.

Any questions just let me know

Nick

You have the point, but here is the situation, when I'm trying to understand how it can be, that there is so big difference between broad and exact kw.

I'm not going to use adw for now, even just to test it. You mean Market Samurai, Micro niche finder or Extrnal Goggle kw tool are useless...? Don't know here, but it's a bit confusing. Moreover I'm concerned on free methods of traffic to get the feeling and then after cash cow is setup jump into ppc train with tweaking, testing, scaling, milking etc.

It's clear you are trying to give a pro tip, but this is not the stuff, which is really needed here.

Thanks anyway.
