I ran out of money to keep my campaigns alive the last several days, which is a good thing when you're getting a high ROI. Thurs is my big payday, where I get a large wire transfer. However, that only leaves me a few days to get my accounts over the $1,000 threshold for next week's pay. So I'm making my goal to have $1,000 days on Fri, Sat and Sun. I've had plenty of $500, $600 and $700+ days in the past, but I don't think I've had 1,000 days (well, I suppose I have if you combine network/affiliate earnings, but not within a single network). I'll update this thread as I go! |

Congratulations! Why are you still messin' with networks that have high thresholds like that?

If you are that tight, bring all your campaigns to the one network to reach the threshold. For example, if you have a few campaigns each doing $100 revenue on a different network, use similar offers on the network you want the commission check from, so migrate all campaign to that one network temporarily. Even if it means losing some ROI, you may need to sacrifice it a bit to get the threshold. Or call the network, if you are doing a few hundred a day, my bet is they will pay a lot more frequently and will give you lots of wiggle room with thresholds and such. Here is my question... If you are trying to get $1000 (revenue, not profit) a day for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, how are you even concerned about meeting the $1000 commission threshold. Even if you were making $200 a day (revenue, not profit) for the past week, you will be at that threshold already? Remember, threshold is based on revenue, not net profit. Just a little confused how you are even in this predicament/crunch if you can normally do a few hundred a day?

I work almost exclusively with paid traffic. I decided to shut off my paid traffic as I wait for my next payment to roll in, because I don't want my funds to get too low. Why the bankroll problem? Because of a recent move and some necessary high-cost purchases, coupled with the fact that I won't get mail (non-CPA affiliate checks) at my new address for a while. So, if I made almost $0 so far this week (OK, I just checked, and I did make about 70 bucks that I hadn't accounted for), I have to rapidly make money to beat that $1,000 threshold. There's really no reason why I HAVE to beat it, because tomorrow's payday will provide plenty of bankroll for a while. Moreover, I certainly don't have to make a grand a day to beat it. But it's a way to motivate myself

I don't follow, I was getting bi weekly payments at one point in CPA for under $4k a week. Speak to your AM. If you're able to consistently generate a ROI from paid traffic, your AM will fall all over you to get you payments that help solve your cash flow issue. Checks? What is this 2002.. Paypal or 24 hour wire transfer please on $5k plus per week. |

Freeman, well done.... but ya if you're generating that kinda money you should be getting wires once a week at least.

The checks are for non-CPA related affiliate stuff. These are some smaller operations that don't do wires.

| Lots of media buys and cheap PPC, emphasizing a few personal favorite sources of traffic and a few of my own twists. I was testing offers obsessively to get to this point. I get creative with my banners, which really helps push my CTR up there. |

Got it. I just found it weird that the network wouldnt be more flexible if you generally generate a lot of rev for them most weeks. Sounds pretty crappy. Anyway, aren't your CPA accounts paying more frequently and by paypal or wire? And any way to motivate yourself is a good way. Motivation is huge so congrats on taking action in that regard. Good luck on your journey and keep kicking butt!

Congratulations buddy! Could you be more specific on the traffic sources you are using? |

If you are seeing large ROIs but are having cash flow issues, you can always bring on some debt. Despite having a horrible reputation especially lately, debt can be a miracle. Debt isnt necessarily a bad thing, its leverage and leverage can be wonderful. If you have steady campaigns debt like credit cards and small loans work just fine. Remember that CPA campaigns are essentially little investments. Debt is a very powerful means of magnifying gains (and losses if your not careful). Best of luck bud

For example, there was a time that I did a lot of business with PlentyofFish. It was a little easier back then: CPMs were cheaper. Although I still highly recommend that you experiment with it, I no longer rely on it much as it became more saturated. There's no need to follow anyone's blueprint -- there is so much opportunity out there. I seem to come up with new ideas to implement every day (especially with a little caffeine in me ).

It's making me crazy to read of all you guys doing 1K a week. I've been working at this for about 9 months doing CPA with CB/QwikMedia,MaxBounty/Shareasale. I get my CPA traffic through TrafficVance, LeadImpact, and Direct CPV. I generate a good amount of traffic I think, ( 200-300 a day on some, 1000 a day on others ) and very few conversions. My KW's and URL's are targeted as well as I know how using Laser URL and Laser Keywords. I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong before I go broke. Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks, Steve |

Its hard for me to give specific advice without knowing specific information about what you are doing, but normally the difference between people doing okay and people doing great is just a matter of scale. Find ways to scale whatever is working for you Focus your efforts of profit making or profit growing activities. Rinse and repeat successful things if possible. Expand traffic sources on successful campaigns. The internet is about scale, so make sure you do everything in your power to scale what is working and nix whatever isnt.

Update: I was just looking through my posts and forgot that I had posted this thread last month. I went back to check my stats: $2,151.60 Fri and Sat combined to make about $1950, and then I fell to about 200 on Sun. Probably about 70% of that was profit. That was a really good weekend, despite not making my goal of 1,000 each day (only on Fri did I hit the magic #).. However, I hit a slump thereafter. My traffic sources started to mysteriously go sour. That's one reason I've been away so long: I've been furiously sourcing other traffic, and testing, testing, testing. I had days where I lost big chunks of money, and a bit of fear started to creep in: "What if it's over? I'm gonna be on the streets. I better find a good cardboard box..." Finally over the past several days I've recovered my losses and then some. I'm back on the saddle and doing well I also don't have to worry about running out I'm not posting this to brag -- it wasn't long ago that I wasn't making much with CPA at all. I originally posted it to try to keep myself accountable to a goal, and I'm updating for sake of credibility. |
