So I have a good idea for a new website I will be building, and while looking into different affiliate networks to use, I understand some require a large number of traffic on my website. How can i setup a network if i havnt launched the site and therefore have no traffic? Any help would be appreciated!

There are some networks that are easier to join such as CPALead and Peerfly, but I would recommend you to finish building your website before start submitting your applications. William |

Thanks guys for your replys, while researching websites ive also noticed most of the top websites that sell products sell them directly from their site so people dont need to leave their site to buy the product from the products company site and still recieve commission. Is this hard to do and will there be alot of time maintaining a site like this with products comming and going?

I've seen sites that give you a small piece of code you add in an IFRAME on your site. That way you are actually showing the seller's site on your page.

Plenty of Networks out there like helping people who are just launching their site, or just getting started altogether. You shouldn't have any problems getting in a few places.

I am going to spit out a bit of insight from the network side of things... The form field where the networks ask you to input your "website" is somewhat useless. Yes, it allows the person managing pending accounts to check your website, take a look at it, evaluate it, etc... But more than 75% of the time these websites are obviously cookie cutter websites "designed" to pass the initial inspection of "your website". As a network owner, we know that 90% of affiliates don't drive traffic explicitly through the website listed in the application. As a suggestion... Instead of creating a cookie cutter Wordpress Blog that shows Education Offers, Health Offers, and Biz Opp offers, try it from another angle - create a Business Identity Website. Create a website that outlines what you do; email marketing, social media, SEO, PPC, PPV, etc... Go into detail about your level of experience, how long you have been marketing, etc... This creates a "professional business identity" type site that you can use when you apply to networks. This gives the network owner and/or the staff member in charge of approving/evaluating accounts a good grasp of your marketing skills and abilities. Back in my early days I created a business identity site and I was never turned down to a CPA network. The main reason networks require "approval" to get in is to weed out the bad seeds. Some advice... Hop on the phone and talk to the person handling the pending affiliate accounts. Tell them what you know, how you know it, what you have done in the past, what you currently do, and what is working for you. Most network owners are looking for "good folks" that are willing to put forth the effort to send clean traffic. Any knowledgeable person about internet marketing should be able to talk to another person in the industry and get a good feel of who they are as a person and what their goals are in internet marketing. I see this topic come up over and over "How to get approved". My advice is create a professional website that outlines your skills and "BE HONEST". Networks are looking for good, honest people, looking to make a buck. Granted there are some networks that have higher requirements, but most of the networks are just looking for good folks - at least Envyus Media is. Brian |

The easiest way to get a site for approval to CPA network is to just pick a niche, install wordpress, install a nice looking theme, add articles and there you go!

I know there are definitely networks out there that don't require their publishers to have a website. Some publishers don't even use a website to promote, so having a site on the app doesn't really mean anything. Just like EnvyusBrian said.. most of the time the sites are made just to pass network interviews, and most of the time publishers don't run traffic to the site on the app. So if you don't want to wait until your site is up and running and perfect, I'd say just be honest with the network you're applying to.. lots of networks out there like bringing in the newbies. Good luck!! |
