Well guys, Many thanks for all the support. My query is short and straight forward. I have a blog where I document all my internet marketing week in week out. This has an email address that I use to communicate with my blog readers. However having read through the WSO's and threads here on how to join CPA networks, all seem to talk about professional websites. Do I really need to set up another site for this? My current email is dennis at pitdenis dot com. Would this look good enough to the networks? I want to get everything right and that is why am asking this question. Look forward to your suggestions. It's best just to remain honest on the application, setting up sites (when you don't have one or you just plan to direct link) is not necessary - at least in my eyes as a network owner. I can tell when someone puts together a website quick - it almost comes off as being shady at times. |

Thanks Ryan, I also think being honest is the best option. Someone just told me my blog wasn't a "professional site" so I kinda got worried but now I wont bother setting up a site for a simple application. I will stick with my blog email address. Thank you. Dennis |

Yep... Pretty much what Ryan said. I have seen applicants throw up a wordpress site with flashy graphics, textual content, and it looks "nice and pretty" but then you look at the traffic/domain history and the site is so new it even has the "new website smell"... lol Seriously tho... Like Ryan said, be honest on the application, say what you know and don't go overboard. When you hop on the phone with the network during the phone call tell them what you know and don't lie. Most network owners, including myself, have been doing this for a long time, and quite honestly we can tell if you are lying or not. Nothing is going to make the network hit the "Deny" button faster than lying. Because if you are lying on the initial meet and greet then what does the future look like - probably not good. I am sure most networks are the same (some might have higher requirements) but we are just looking for good folks looking to make money. Period. ![]() So in a nutshell... Be honest, be truthful, don't lie, and you shouldn't have a problem getting accepted. Brian |
