Beginner needs idea to run incentivized program

I have joined an incentive based program. I am fairly new to this concept. From my website I can manage 100 conversions. But the problem is how to pay the incentive for completing the offer. How would I know that they have completed an offer.
Hope this is not a stupid question to ask But I am new to this concept and quality answers will definitely help other similar warriors.

You'll need to place a tracking pixel on the page the offer converts on.

Most networks that allow incentives will do postbacks to call a script on your site when a conversion happens. Talk to your AM and find out if they have postback functionality. If they do, that will give you all of the info that you need as long as you are putting user info into the link subids.

Communicate with your AM at the perspective company, I know that BLAM ADs has some new technologies being tested (I got a preview from a friend) that were pretty sick.
