Default Expert Article marketers: What is the Best linking strategy for ezinearticles.com?

I have submitted about 50 articles to ezinearticles.com. I know I need to start building backlinks to my articles so they can rank high is search engines.

What is the best strategy for this?

I know I first find the ones with the best click thru rate and optimize them. I have a linkvana account and I was going to build backlinks using this.
How many back links (approximate) does each article need? I know it depends on the competition but on average how many backlinks are you doing per article?
What words of advice would you give to a new article marketer like myself?
I appreciate your time and advice. Thanks

This is not my field of expertise, but why wouldn't you build a site and use those 50 articles to send traffic there instead?

PPC-Coach makes a good recommendation. Always put your articles on your own blogs or sites first, and then submit to article directories.

But, to answer your question, you will need to research the competition to know what you need to do. If you have researched your keywords and someone else with an EZA article is number 1 on Google for your phrase and they have 10 back links, you would probably want to shoot for 15.

My starting point in building back links goes like this:

Submit my articles to tier 1 directories: EZA, Articlesbase, Buzzle, etc...
Social bookmark the articles.
RSS Submission for all RSS feeds on all my content, using RSSBot.
Gently rewrite or spin the article submit to a wide range of lower tier article directories using ArticleBot with links to my tier 1 articles.
If this is not enough, find WordPress, Blogger Blogs, and other sites with PR2 or higher rankings and leave relevant comments and a link back to the article.

In reality though, you should be following PPC-Coaches recommendation. Create a blog for the market. Put the articles there first. When you submit to the tier 1 directories point their links to your blog. Your blog posts will push clients to your offers.

Use the above techniques to create more links to your blog, and to your premium articles. Your goal is to have your blog outrank your articles.

Use your articles to create videos, which point to the blog articles.

Instead of me continuing to ramble, I want to direct you to a brilliant post by another Warrior - Travis Petelle - His plan in this post is a killer plan to get the backlinking and traffic you want. Here is the link: My 28 Day Rinse and Repeat Plan To Huge Amounts of Laser Targeted Traffic

Read that and then see if you have more questions. It is an outstanding plan!

If I post on my blog first and then to an article directory. Will not that be considered as duplicate content by search engines?
Since I have already posted the articles on articles directories, can I now post them on my blog or is it too late?

Instead of using the same articles on your site and in the directories - build your own site and then write articles to drive traffic to your site.

Write articles for the directories and use those to send traffic back to your main site.

On your main site you can monetize it with Adsense, CPA ads, build a list, etc.

No, as duplicate content only refers to identical content posted on the same site. The same content published on multiple sites is called "syndicated content" and you will have no problem with it. However, Ezine will not accept your articles if they have been previousely published anywhere else online.

Honestly I feel you shoud be writing at least 3-5 articles for one keyword that your targeting. Each pretty much saying that same thing but considered unique content that way you wont have issues with ezine or whatsoever and you would have to do is just link them all up. if it takes 5 minutes to write one article lets just say it takes 20 mins because you need like 5.

if you want your article to rank. start by checking articles ranking in the search engine for your keyword. secondly check the backlinks to the article by using backlinkwatch.com so that you can see where they article is getting abcklink from and you can also go after them too and also do better by adding more backlink for your. this is easy because these will give you the exact blueprint to outrank the article you saw there.

Personally I dont backlink my ezinearticles at all. I use ezine to backlink my actual money page so putting backlinks for my article seems redundant to me.

Take those 50 articles, spin them and then submit those to article syndication networks like Unique article wizard, SEOLinkvine etc.... This will result in traffic and more back links for your site.
