How to Geo Target a CPA Offer?

Hi Guys,

I have a forum that has visitors from all over the world. Currently I am displaying adsense for revienue but I would like to try some CPA offers.

Can any of you please tell me how can I geo target the offers? For example, all the Canadian viewers will see the CPA offer but the rest of the world will see adsense or another cpa offer?

The above link is a great way to do it, if you know how to program (php) or can outsource it.

If you want a simpler, and probably more powerful solution, check out the OpenX ad server ( openX.org ). It's totally free, you can geo-target your adds right down to the city level if you want, target on browser, O/S, underwear color....

You can even have it rotate between your CPA and Adsense if you want, automatically displaying whichever makes you the most $$. It's one of the best solutions I've found so far.

Im sure the networks will already have GEO TARGETING in place.

But I recommend you start doing lead generation ... I used to be you trying all sorts of little things and figure out how I could do X and Y ... where all I needed was a complete change in strategy.

You GOT to increase your margins, which means $50 a lead boys! That's why I don't do these zip/email submits or CC trials anymore.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

I spent a few hours on openx today. It seemed a bit complicated in the beginning but figured it all out eventually. Now I know how to geo target my ad but I'm unable to figure out how to rotate the ad. I can't find that option. Anyone?

Maxmind's free geolocation database is very good.

What we've done at our network is create a short-URL service that sends your traffic to different offers (that you select) based on the country of origin. Eliminates the hassle of setting this up on your own.
