Fixed Price Top 3 Google PPC

I've just been speaking to an offline prospect about various things when his existing Google Adwords campaign came up.

According to him, he runs main Google search adwords campaigns (and I've checked - they are there) for competitive keywords - approx £5 per click. Yet he only pays an agency in the UK £25 per keyword per month fixed for a guaranteed top 3 placement.

He says they are a Google reseller. The Google website only lists 7 uk resellers and his agency isn't one of them.

I've got no reason to disbelieve him as he's very cost conscious and will be making sure that his bill is what he expects.

Has anyone come up against this before? I can't believe Google are giving away prime real estate for £25 per month ignoring the reseller margin.

Somehow feels like a scam yet appears to be true.

Total BS.

Unless the agency is massive, spending a few mill a year Google will not give discounts on clicks. Run the campaign yourself, much better anyway.

If you wanna be able to spend big on clicks make sure the offer pays out. I get a conversion rate of at least 10% and I get £30 everytime for a small form submit, so I can afford to bid high. Gosh I love my 3-4 figure/day job lol.

Now where did I put my the ice for my pina colada?

Hmm - thanks. That was my view. I've never known this happen. I'll press further and see if there is something underhand going on.

I don't believe they give the clicks away.

As I take it a short form is max 5 fields to fill out. Do you actually mean to say that for just a few fields you get $50!
