For all the ppv experts out there, how would i go about tracking my urls? There is alot of text on how to track by keyword, but i am not bidding on any keywords, just urls. right now i have my url setup with the end of the tracking url as %%$keyword%% Should i just change that to %%$url%% How would I do it? Thanks. Robert |

No , just leave it as %%keyword%% for trafficvance. For LeadImpact it's keyword , and mediatraffic is target_passthrough . The same token is used for keywords and urls. |

| Traffic Vance I am looking at the data now and all I am getting is IP address, date, time, browser, and it's blank under referrer, using the &&$keyword%% above. As a matter of fact, under keyword it says %%$keyword%%. What good is it if i cant see which URL's people are coming from? ![]() Any ideas? |

Don't know about TrafficVance but with DirectCPV, you have to add the {{vurl}} at the end of your tracking link from prosper like this: http://xxxxx.xxxxxx.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=xxxxx&t202kw={{vurl}} Hope that helps somewhat |

| Yeah with traffic vance im pretty sure you need to add %%$keyword%%, which i added. When i go into my stats and click on visitors or spy view all i see is the date/time of the visit, the ip address, and thats it. Arent i supposed to see the URL that they came from? Isnt that the point? IMO this other information is otherwise useless unless i know which urls people are coming from.

| Yeah i know. Im using EWA. I setup everything right from what i can tell, but it is not reporting the urls. Any suggestions on who i could talk to about this? The network? Prosper 202 (if possible)?

Maybe you aren't placing your tracking pixel properly. This is the tracking pixel I placed with Maxbounty and it works fine: http://xxxxxxx.xxxxxx.com/tracking20...nt=&subid=#S1# For Neverblue it would be &subid={subid} Maybe that's where you're going wrong. Although I have heard that Prosper202 can be very buggy. |

I think I know what your problem is. In your screenshot it's clear you have put %%$keyword%% instead of %%keyword%% (without the dollar sign). Try removing the $ symbol and you should be good to go.

taking out the $ did not work, it is reporting under keyword as %%keyword%% still... Chrisba, i sent you a pm, let me know what you think might be the problem here. I'm pretty sure you use TV and EWA, how do you track the urls? Thanks |

I believe TrafficVance changed their dynamic keyword operator to {KeyWord} did they not? That's what it says on the side of the campaign creation menu and that's what I have been using. |

for trafficvance the passthrough is like that landingpage.com/index.php?keyword=%%$KEYWORD%% capitals ! or landingpage.com/index.php?keyword={KeyWord} whatch out for capitalisation for mediatraffic its landingpage.com/index.php add nothing activate "target passthrough" and fetch the variable target_passthrough instead of variable "keyword" good luck Frank germany

Anybody know how to setup prosper to track a setup like this. Say i'm using Leadimpact . I am poping up a page xxx.com/popup/html , then when user clicks that page they are taken to My landing page which has the offers on that page, then once they click the offers it go over to the offers LP. I went to LP setup but if i setup xxx.com/popup/, the trackin202string would track stats for that page but not for the page where the products are actually being sold.. any ideas?

I would have to say that it seems to have the much missing features that 202 cant do , but i would probably recommend it only to Advanced users. The 247$ price is a little steep

I have a quick question about prosper and how to track landing pages. I have inserted the landing page code above the /body tag. Now which url do you use to place in adwords? Im currenlty using the tracking link that prosper gives me to redirect the user once the click join up on my landing page. The ad url that im using in the google ad is just a normal web address. Im trying to track which keyword sent to traffic to my site. As I understand you can use the link prosper gives you and place kw=[keyword] in the AD that will send the user to my landing page. But if I also use the same link code on my redirect button on my landing page wont it track 2 times? Hope that makes sense. As a break down then. 1. Do I use the prosper link code in the redirect button on my landing page or in the adwords ad? 2. If I use propser in the AD. Do I just use my normal affiliate link in the redirect button on my landing page? |

I'm pretty sure to bring your user to your landing page, you must use the link based on prosper202 step#7 (Get Links) For your question no.2 --> i think you can use your affiliate link which has been wrapped by prosper202 based on step#3 (Aff Campaigns)

1. Add the LP to prosper. Place the prosper link in adwords and it will send the user to your LP. This will be recordered in Prosper as a click. To register a converison you will have to place a pixel in the offer on EWA. Just copy and paste into a browser to check. Hope that helps. |
