While I am testing platforms out and bidding extremely conservatively a question I thought I would ask before I increase my bid prices and potentially lose more money is this: Does bid price affect the quality of the sites where ads are shown that counts for impressions? Before I reduced my bids, when first I had set up a campaign at the recommended bid prices, I had a mass of clicks but no sale. I have since lowered my bids and on FaceBook which tells me the number of impressions, I reckon now the click through is approaching .01% If 0.1% was considered good but not that good, surely 0.01% is abysmal. Is this telling me I should keep trying different offers until I find one that resonates with FaceBook users? I am trying to avoid direct selling and make the ads appeal to FaceBook Users' interests and target the correct demographic. I am happy to increase bids but not to get a load more clicks which do not convert. Would I see the same ratio of clicks to impressions if I raise my bid price? |
