Worst reason to be banned on CJ. No response on appeals?

I've been banned on CJ.com about a month ago, and I promote CJ on many of the websites that I run. All of their product links are still active so my only intentions are getting unbanned.

Here's how I got banned. Two years ago I was monetizing on a website with no adult content, and have added the domain name as one of my websites onto my CJ.com account. I have not promoted that website on CJ for at least a year, and there are no CJ links through there. However, that website is now an adult orientated site, with no CJ links anywhere.

No response from the numerous emails I've replied, and only voicemails when I call during office hours. I don't even know my publisher id without access to the site. Is there anything I could do to get my account reinstated? I don't participate in BlueFart or illegal activities and has always been a legitimate publisher.

Personally I'd just move on to other networks..

CJ is the only affiliate network that works with many other advertisers. Creating a new account wouldn't get me approved for several advertisers through to a new payment balance threshold.

if you are not putting CJ links on " one " of your sites,
why they would discover that site and ban you ??

can you put CJ adult toys advertisers on adult sites ?

I wouldn't advertise CJ on adult orientated sites as the there are no campaigns from cj to target the audience with. Just the fact that the domain name was associated with my account from three years ago they sent me that compliance email, which is complete bull****.

there are some adult sex toys advertisers there. Just not sure if the ads can be placed on adult related sites ?

If I were you I would just simply move on. Loads of affiliate networks on the net, and I am actually safe as sound as I capture leads for myself first, and track/cloak every link. Therefore if a network withdraws an offer I don't have to go back and change every article link, website link and so on just log in to my account, find a similar offer or the same on another network and change the link once.

Hope this helps in the future.

Never depend on a CPA network. I just saw one of my most profitable networks going out of business. They sent me an email 3 days in advance

What did I do? Logged into my tracking account and changed their links in about 10 minutes.

I agree 100%. Pepperjam, Share-a-sale or Google have some good merchants, and their systems/interfaces actually make some sense.

I've got banned by CJ last year also for the same reason. A couple months later, I went to log into my CJ acct to retrieve some info and it was restored. No email or anything about my account being restored. So I would just wait a couple months and see.

If you got banned from CJ, but the commission you earned was not because of this reason, can you still get your locked outstanding balance back? Thanks.

I have the same story happened just today! same AA machines instead of support, and while I've got a real person from another dept he told me that my account cannot be opened anymore and all funds will be forfeited.

Any progress on your story?

I never had a problem with them...

Maybe they only give reps to big sites.

Hi,

So now CJ is becoming like a police state. They spy on whether you have domains leading to porn. Your domains are none of their business. As long as you don't offer their products on the porn sites, by having the domains shouldn't be the reason to ban you.

I wasn't banned but rather deactivated because of "inactivity" - no sale. I tried to restore when I changed my traffic strategy but CJ rejected my appeal.

Well, my site is bringing traffic to CJ but they kicked me out. Wrong target market because the traffic are mainly students ( Middle-east & Eastern Europe, North and South America ). You know students don't have much spare cash to spend.

I have 12,000 very active backlinks to my software site. They are from multiple software forums and forum owners are highlighting my site. So traffic is good, therefore my Adsense is doing ok.

Because of the rather stern and unforgiving message CJ sent to you, FORGET CJ. Its not the end of the world. Take down all CJ offers ( which they seem to enjoy FREE traffic ). Join more lucrative networks.

Consider CPS ( Linkshare, Amazon, Google Affiliate, ClickBank, RAPbank and PayDotCom ) and good CPA networks ( Blamads, PeerFly, AxonMedia, LeadBolt, Empyr, Copeac ).

They have far more and better offers for your visitors. Their systems are more user-friendly and intelligent. Make your sites richer in offers.
