If you are going to promote CPS that require a credit card, build a list and focus on building a sales funnel that not only promotes the main product that you want to sale but also products related to that main product, i.e. cross selling. I still would suggest building a landing page for downloads and submits both. When the PPV network permits even opt to use audio and logos of the brands you are promoting. Not all networks will allow the use of trademarks which you do not own and audio but get with your account rep as the restrictions differ from one to the next.

I suggest using CPV Labs for your tracking as the tool is super simple to get up and running and really designed for tracking PPV campaigns no matter if you run opt-in, multiple offer landing pages or straight up single offer/ direct link landing pages.

Direct linking PPV and attempting to scale with no tracking in place is quite simply next to impossible.

Currently our network is smashing the following three offers on PPV.

1) Free Score 360 - US
2) $1,000 Walmart Gift Card
3) Home Online Jobs - INTL

i think Dating offers are great for PPV. but its too much competitive so you have to be more careful at your dialog box or landing page. it must have to be very attractive.

The key I think is a very good tracking system like Tracking202 and watch EVERYTHING!

One URL can blow out your campaign in no time, and unless you are traking them all and watching each keyword, it can be difficult to tweak and optimize. (unless you have a huge payroll behind you)

Yes if you are not going to test don't even get into the game of ppv. I am actually about to purchase the prosper pro version because the free one does not do it for me. you can have a winning campaign with 1 loser url but if your not tracking youll never know which url is the loser.

Like PPC, you have to just put your offer out there and then TRACK. Whatever network that you're with should give you what's been working for them. And go with that. If they can't, find another network.

as you know, targeting the same url or keyword of the offer i'm promoting is not allowed on leadimpact.

but for some offers i neeeed to target internal pages such as:

offer: cheaphotel com / zapatista

i need to target cheaphotel com / hotel

do you have some trick to do this?

I assume you're trying to direct link the offer here? If so, 2 things you can try:

1) Build a lander that looks very similar to the look and feel of the offer page, then go through to the offer. It's one more step but you can do a bit more pre-sell before the offer anyway and it almost looks seemless to the end user. I've had great success doing it this way

2) I-frame (if your network and the offer allow it)

Of course there is the 3rd "naughty way" but it's against LI's TOS so we won't discuss that one

Greetings guys,

I find this thread really informative and has benefit me alot since I've just launched a leadimpact CPV campaign targeting free email submit offers. My keywords where approved yesterday and I have not receive any traffic yet, so I have yet to see how well my lander convert. But I would love to hear your input on my landing page, what am I missing? what do I need to add? Maybe I should stick with direct linking? all comments are welcomed

I have been doing well with leadimpact.... only few dollars but it seems promising (I am new)

But I have this problem, Lead Impact sometimes reject my urls because they are too long. How can I overcome this issue?

I am having these "too long" urls because these urls are sooo targetted and they happen to be "too long".

Please share your thoughts
