Just bought a couple domains related to teeth whitening. Wondering what is best way to promote them? Is PPC to expensive for this niche? Especially for someone just starting out.

Well, the problem with teeth whitening and most "public" offers is the low margins. I used to run it and you can only build volume by using PPC, but its too expensive.

So I contacted merchants directly in other more mainstream markets and BLAMO, I got a deal for £30 a form-submit without a credit card required. Now I'm close to 4 figures a day and told all the aff networks to stick it with their low payouts

What's the best way to approach the companies who have the "Teeth whitening" offers ?

But it's not about cutting corners and taking the margin yourself ... its about you and your friends being able to quit that boring 9-5 job. So instead, we got our own private club (invite only) where we keep the margins high.

Advertorial style... Was hitting 1k profit a day just with those on adwords. That being said, dont try to go and run these on adwords now unless you have certain methods in place, even then its not a long term play. But advertorial on other traffic sources is still working, its finding an offer that doesnt screw around with its processing and compliance on the backend now that is the challenge..

I don't think that PPC is too expensive for offers that pay over $30 per lead. You just need to find the right traffic source for your sites, make some tests and find a good approach.

You should contact your aff manager, he will be able to tell what offer and people are promoting and where they are doing this.

Teeth whitening offers are still doing well and there are all sorts of ways to promote them. I have heard someone, I think Kenster, saying he did well with those doing offline marketing with flyers for teeth whitening.

Also, you could try CPV/PPV or even SEO, if you are good at SEO.

I like PPV for them personally, a lot of traffic sources have banned free trial offers. If you can afford to do media buys you can do them too (depending).

It all really depends on your strategy.. your can't just direct link and bid on teeth whitening keywords, you need to think a little outside the box.. try thinking of what type of person needs teeth whitening (yes, people were non-white teeth, but how else could you identify these people?), also take a look at the demographics of the offers with a tool like quantcast or google ad planner.. then also target based on that..
