Adwords Are Morons

One account running for a year all fine.

Got a Final Warning two weeks ago.

Deleted everything and went to work on a new site..

Then got banned before I could set up a new campaign

Absolutely hilarious

Although the inconvinience of getting a new everything will be a pain.

Just had to get it off my chest!

(thankfully adwords isn't the be all and end all for me)

I also recommend you to give them a call. Maybe AdWords was not your main traffic source, but I think that Google is always an important alternative for anyone dealing with paid traffic, so you don't want to lose your account.

No luck, suspension stands for past violations even though those past violations only warranted a final warning a few weeks ago ...have to get a new everything now...

As Nick / William say drop a email, if you did delete those campaigns when you received that notice and have not added anything new then it would be seen as a very rough call to issue a faux warning.

Fair enough if you avoided it or continue to run more stuff but if not then that is not playing cricket

I think FTC is cracking down and putting some sort of pressure to Google. If your landing pages is about making money online, you better be careful what you put in there and they might suspend your account.

My opinion is, for anything affiliate related, forget Adwords!

If you are cloaking around them.. they'll find out eventually!

Ohh man you sure??? For me it would mean to leave 5 figures profit each months on the table

So to all those who never tried adwords combined with affiliate marketing just give it a try. Lead Generation is one of the best things you can do there.

And don't forget. ONLY CTR MATTERS.

About a year or so ago I was married to adwords, now when someone mentions adwords I just want to jump through the roof, its become such a pain using them, and as for google, they can just kiss all of our beautiful affiliates bum chump.

I would recommend moving on to a cpm / ppv business model - At the moment this is where party is.

I'm not talking about for seasoned pros like yourself, I'm saying that there are much easier platforms to learn from (like Facebook) for beginners.

You're not alone, adwords are getting ridiculously strict, they keep banning with no mercy. Doesn't matter if you spend 50 per month, or 50.000 per month, they will still ban you.

I've spent over 35.000 on adwords over the past couple of months, and like yourself, I got a final warning message. I removed all the conflicting campaigns, and made new campaigns. Few days later, they notified me that I'm banned.

Cian, sorry to hear about that. The CPCs these days are so ridiculous these days on Adwords that you really need to finetune and optimize your campaigns in order to make money anyway, and you're probably better off using PPV or other less restrictive forms of advertising. By the way, were you mainly using the Search network, or did you use the Content network as well?
