I have just visited QualiBid and I must say that the first look of the entire site looks really professional, and the video tutorials are extremely well done! I have an excellent first impression of the ad network and eager to put some money in and get started placing ads with the network...

However, I do have some queries and would really appreciate your clarification:

1. With regard to the displaying of my ads, may I ask if my ads would appear in the search networks, or will it be in the content networks, or both? (Is it possible for me to specifically switch off the content networks?)

2. May I know what are some of the sites (in search and content networks) where my ads will be displayed? Just some examples so I have a feel of how the ad looks like...

3. Is there any minimum amount I need to deposit when I first set up my account with Qualibid, and if one day, should I decide to leave the ad network, will the remaining funds be credited back to my credit card/PayPal account?

4. Are there any keyword suggestion tools available in the ad network? Which can give suggestions on possible keywords that we can bid on, along with the estimated number of searches for a particular keyword in a single month, etc.?

5. Was wondering if there are currently any on-going promotions (such as free ad credits) for new advertisers? :P

'Cos right now I'm also in the process of searching through forums as well as websites for adnetworks which I could submit ads to (which doesn't have fraudulent clicks)...

Your ads will appear in search results on search sites or content sites that have search functionality. The user has to either enter a search querry in a search box and then click on one of the results or to click on the keyword link and click on of the results as well.

We do not allow our publishers to display ads directly on their pages. The user has to make 2 clicks which makes the traffic quality significantly higher.

Unfortunately I cannot provide you with the examples of our publishers' sites but you will see the URLs in click refferrers once you start getting clicks.

Unfortunately we do not have this tool at the moment. Some of our advertisers use Google keyword suggestion tool, keyword spy, word tracker and Keyword Typo Generator.

We do not currently have any promotions. Since the system is relatively new our advertisers take big advantage of the very low CPC (cost per click)

However, the 1000th Qualibid adertiser will receive a $50 bonus upon adding funds to their wallet. (Account 997 was registered 20 min ago)
The funds must be added within one week from the moment of account registration.

Just one more question - Let's say if we put in a minimum amount required to get started with Qualibid, but after a while, we realized that the system isn't for us and decide to terminate our account - With that, may I ask if the balance amount that's left in the account will be refunded back to our credit card (or whatever payment system we choose initially to deposit funds into our account)?

I am sorry, but according to our Terms, we do not make such refunds.
However, based on multiple requests, we are going to reduce the minimum deposit amount for PayPal and credit cards.

Thought I'd chip in: Theres LOADS of second tier advertising networks out there who model or spin themselves off the big 3 (Adwords, Yahoo, BING). I do high-quality lead generation so the only type of traffic I am interested in is ... high-quality as well.

Unfortunately, I have yet to find anything that comes even CLOSE to Adwords or Yahoo. Pretty much all 2nd tier PPC networks (including PPV) simply cant deliver high-quality traffic.

I havent checked out qualibid yet but I wouldnt be surprised if it didn't work for what I do. It might for others tho so I havent unleashed my Spanish inquisition yet lol

This is partly true, however you should take into consideration a number of very important aspects:

1. Google CPC is extremely high (!) and a lot of people just can't afford it. For certain keywords it is hundreeds times higher then 2 tier.

2. Yes, quality wise Google offers the best possible traffic and most 2 tier PPCs mix genuine traffic with bots and incentivized clicks, but not all. Quality wise, some networks are just as good or almost as good as Google. However, what matters is your ouput, which is primarily based on Quality / CPC ratio.

3. Google has serious restrictions making it hard to work with third party ofers.
- You need to build your own landing pages.
- You can't advertise pharma, gambing and adult offers

4. Unfortunately people tend to mix up the terms "traffic quality" and "the nature of traffic" or "kind of traffic". Every type of traffic needs to be used properly. Due to huge volume, Google has all kinds of traffic. Some advertisers require very specific kinds of traffic. Most 2 tier PPs just don't have it. Advertisers try to increase the volume by making their ads significantly less targeted. As a result, they get wrong kind of traffic that doesn't convert and make wrong conclusions about traffic quality.

I'll give you a simple example: You are advertising business loans broker. You used a broad financial term "loans" as one of your keywords. A student who was looking for scholarship clicked on your ad, but he did not perform any action. Was it bad traffic? Or it was unsuitable traffic? Or perhaps advertiser made something wrong?

5. Some advertisers just don't know how to manage and optimize their campaings. They make up misleading ads, bid on wrong keywords, use wrong match types, do not use negative keywords, set wrong bids, and what's most important; they do not analyze their stats!

With both 1 and 2 tier networks it is vital to analyze the data you've gathered. Qualibid's most sucessful advertisers use our tracking parameters that provide them with traffic source ID, bid keyword and search querry with every single click they get. They analyze this data along with the click refferers that provide them with the publisher's URLs

At this point, even if there was zero conversion at first, advertisers fine-tune their campaign, ad, and keyword settings (adjust bids, add negative keywords, change match types, modify ad titles and descriptions, block unwanted traffic sources, etc.) which inevitably leads to increased profits. So what really matters is your professionalism and your approch.

6. Qualibid's affiliate network has very strict traffic quality standards.
In addition to our unique in house developed set of filters and tests we constantly monitor all traffic sources.

Another significant factor has to do with the user behavior, which is Qulibid's advantage compared to Google.

A few more words about Google quality. The quality will become lower if you work with partner network and content network. Only search network provides you with hq. But apart from that, there are quite a few traders who buy RON traffic from 2 tier and send it to Google, and Yahoo feeds. What does it mean? It means that when you buy Google or Yagoo traffic, part of it is the same 2 tier traffic. You just pay a lot more for it. That's it.

You may block traffic source IDs which is even more flexible then blocking domains because some publishers use different sub IDs within a single domain.

Qulibid gets traffic from wide range of quality online resources such as custom search engines, thematic portals, blogs, news sites, etc. Webmasters place our search box or text keyword links on their pages.
We do not provide text blocks, which significantly improves traffic quality.

Why does it improve traffic quality?
Because users do not directly click on advertiser's ad.

1. They enter search querry in the serch box (or click on keyword link).
2. They see our search feed (where one of the results is your ad)
3. They click on one of the ads if they are interested.

A few suggestions:
We stongly recommend adding tracking variables to the click URL of your ads. It will show you thraffic source ID, search querry and bid keyword for every single click.
If you are not happy with particular source of traffic, you may block it for any of your campaigns. We also encourage you to report suspecious IDs. We will investigate every flagged source and apply refund if it appears to be low quality traffic.

Please review these terms prior to registering your account.
The last updates regulates Qualibid's refund policy.

REFUND POLICY

If advertiser is not satisfied with the quality of purchased clicks for any reason, he or she may submit request for internal refund. All requests for internal refunds must be submitted via Qualibid ticket system. Advertiser may only request for internal refunds for periods that do not exceed 30 days from the moment of receiving the above mentioned clicks. Qualibid will not issue any refunds for periods exceeding 30 days. Upon submitting the request, advertiser must include the following information:

Qualibid traffic source ID
Campaign ID and ad ID associated with the purchased clicks
The number of purchased clicks
The period during which advertiser received these clicks
Detailed request reason
Screenshots of advertiser's server logs, third party stats or any other material that may help investigate the issue.

Upon receiving advertiser's request, Qualibid will carefully analyze the issue. If Qualibid determines that the reported traffic source has provided low quality traffic, the refund will be applied to advertiser's internal account in full or in part. The appropriate amount will be credited to advertiser's wallet balance.

All advertisers are strongly encouraged to immediately block all unwanted traffic sources for all their campaigns as soon as they find these sources low-performing.

I have an excellent first impression of the ad network and eager to put some money in and get started placing ads with the network... With regard to the displaying of my ads, may I ask if my ads would appear in the search networks, or will it be in the content networks, or both? I do high-quality lead generation so the only type of traffic I am interested in is ... high-quality as well. Unfortunately, I have yet to find anything that comes even CLOSE to Adwords or Yahoo. Pretty much all 2nd tier PPC networks (including PPV) simply cant deliver high-quality traffic. I havent checked out qualibid yet but I wouldnt be surprised if it didn't work for what I do. It might for others tho so I havent unleashed my Spanish inquisition yet lol Nick

Please review these terms prior to registering your account. The last updates regulates Qualibid's refund policy. REFUND POLICY If advertiser is not satisfied with the quality of purchased clicks for any reason, he or she may submit request for internal refund. All requests for internal refunds must be submitted via Qualibid ticket system. Advertiser may only request for internal refunds for periods that do not exceed 30 days from the moment of receiving the above mentioned clicks. Qualibid will not issue any refunds for periods exceeding 30 days. Upon submitting the request, advertiser must include the following information: Qualibid traffic source ID Campaign ID and ad ID associated with the purchased clicks The number of purchased clicks The period during which advertiser received these clicks Detailed request reason Screenshots of advertiser's server logs, third party stats or any other material that may help investigate the issue. Upon receiving advertiser's request, Qualibid will carefully analyze the issue. If Qualibid determines that the reported traffic source has provided low quality traffic, the refund will be applied to advertiser's internal account in full or in part.
