Carlos and Lupe, are they still around?

I got my first intro to CPA via them, and went looking for them this morning but it looks like a few of their sites are down. I liked what I saw and was wondering if they are they still around? I also remember some speculation that something untoward had happened to them, like a prosecution. (I'm definitely not starting a rumor here, just would like to know if they're on the up and up and where they are.)

I have been on there mailing list for years and have not heard a thing from them in over 8 months? Would be curious to know where they went also..

he has a twitter account but hasn't posted since Jan

I know that they started up a CPA network - and they were advertising it a lot for a few months and then all of the contact from them just disappeared.

Yes, this sounds vaguely familiar. I don't know who they are but it seems like I remember hearing about some guy who tweeted that he landed in Vegas and he was in contact with this list, etc. and that was the last everyone heard.

I think Ken's right, he's still just partying in Vegas.

edit: They also had a lot of trouble with the FTC or the law or both because of their marketing tactics, so probably best you don't hear from them anymore!

I remember them.

I always found it to be a little suspicious to what they were pitching. Here's the reason why: IF you make a few millions a year ... WHY on earth would you sell your cash-cow? The only reason I could come up with was it wasnt that great ... OR it ran out of steam.

I think I was correct, as they really DID disappear rather quickly

I had the same sorts of questions, not so much the cash cow thing but, if they were in so much financial trouble, why wouldn't one or two cpa deals make tons of dough and bail them out?
But.. I liked what I saw, I sure learned a lot, and they probably will come out with a huge launch lol.

their stuff is legit and probably taught people about media buying that should never learned of it.
