Default Final Hurdle In Mobile Marketing

Hi

I have been testing quite a few campaigns on mobile ppc platforms such as Adfonic and Admob. I have ested a bunch of different ads and got a pretty good CTR and CPC.

I have created the procuct that i am offering however the most difficult is actually handling the payments. I think this comes down to two main things (a) People have a security fear of paying through mobiles and (b) It's quite tricky to type on mobile phones let alone navigate through a paypal checkout.

At the moment I am emailing the checkout link so that they can follow the link when they are at a computer. Obviously this is highly inefficient as the majority will forget or simply change their mind or never even see the email. So my results arent anywhere near as good as they could be. This is 'OK' I guess considering how cheap the clicks are but ideally I would like to be able to keep every customer!

Does anyone have any ways around this or mobile friendly payment methods they can recommend?

Thanks!

Default Re: Final Hurdle In Mobile Marketing

I have made some tests with mobile ads as well and my results were not very good. It seems that people using mobiles have a different mindset, I think that they are just looking for some quick information and will hardly fill out forms, create accounts or (even worse) buy something.

I'm sure that mobile has lot's of great opportunities, but it's much different than what I'm doing now and I think that I'm not ready to start working on it yet.
