Would the experienced CPA marketers care to share their favorite software/tools for doing both keyword research and for garnering keyword lists...paid or free methods?

You can get some good keyword idea using google keyword tool .

I personally use market samurai and micro niche finder .

I've never been able to see to much of a difference between Market Samurai and MNF.

In actuality, you could probably just get away with Google Adwords tool and your brain.

Google Keyword Tools - filtered by countries and search volumes, and last step - filtered by relevancy manually

Good combinations is, Micro niche finder and Marketsamurai, but is for pay.
Best free method Google Tool of course,
