Okay this one is short, but definitely enjoyable .

I called a guy and asked him how his 1 month old site is receiving 100k uniques per month as he claimed on the application. He said through blog posts and article submissions. So I said, "wow that's a ton of traffic for article submissions". He answered in a cocky way, probably assuming I'm an idiot.

So I said.. "well, link me to one of your blog posts or articles so that I can verify that actually is one of your traffic sources."

His response: "That's against my ethics. Just deny me if you want but I wont show you that."

So I just kept pushing it. I said something like "I don't understand why you can't show me a simple blog post or article that you wrote which verifies that your traffic is coming from there."

He hangs up.

We had previously been speaking on AIM, so I shot him over an IM:

We deal with tons of fraudulent applications on a daily basis. I mean, I know that you were planning on pushing fraud because that's something that all whitehat marketers have no problem showing me (and do show me on a daily basis). If you reconsider, I can reconsider your application. Have a good day.

Because of these fraudsters, guy like me suffer. I've been denied by two affiliate networks so far. First, it was Peerfly and yesterday Maxbounty without providing any reason.. I've provided them genuine information..
