Hi Guys,

I am form the United Kingdom and i am looking to sign up to a CPA Network.

They ask for a company name, which i am using just my name, and also a SSN? (im assuming it is my national insurance number? correct me if im wrong.)

Also, as they are based in the united states, what forms (if any) will i have to fill out when the new tax year comes?

i am 18 years old and am utterly confused by anything tax / form related, so any guidance in this regard would be great.

I obviously dont want to be on the wrong side of the law in regards to tax, so if you experianced CPA marketers from the UK could assist me i would be forever greatfull.

So OfferMobi is out of the question for me? :/

currently following a system of mobile marketing , and this is the best one going at the moment.

they offer the oppurtunity to pay through paypal, direct mail, wire transfer etc.

The best bet is to either speak with other current UK affiliates or just call a network up and explain your situation and ask them there take on it..

Hey AffiliateManJ,

Any CPA network that is United States based will require you send them in a signed and filled out W8-BEN form, which can be found here:

It's fairly simple and the idea behind it is that if you fill this out, it will alleviate the CPA network of paying taxes on the money that you earned and were paid. Then you are responsible to pay taxes in your own country based on your income (though this is not any of the CPA networks business, as long as we have the W8's, we cover ourselves in respects to our taxes).

I'm from Brazil. I do have a company now, but when I was just starting I used to supply just my name. About the SSN, I just supply my CPF, which is the equivalent here in Brazil. My form is the W8-BEN.

A few (or many) things can be different for the UK, but just give the networks a call and they will tell you how to proceed.

Most networks won't need any identification number from you if you're not from the United States.

All that we require of international affiliates is to fill out and send us a W8-BEN as has been mentioned here in the thread.

Usually you can. There is a form (W-9 I think it's called?) that can replace the Social security # it is specifically for people who are making a US income but don't live there.
