Why i'm so impressed with CPA and Internet Marketing!

The more I work with Internet Marketing and interact with the warriors, the more impressed I am with the ethics and integrity which makes up internet marketing. Time and time again it come up that the best way to setup your business is the honest and ethical way, as by it's nature it is a long lasting business.
The cheats and black hat marketers don't seem to prosper in this busines, at least not in the long haul!
Coming from my background it is great to finally find a business which thrives on honesty!

(The only thing I don't like are the sales pages which give a time limit or limited release they have no intention of keeping!)

There are cheats and the dark side marketers that do well, but its a very volatile venture. Most of these marketers have some technology, some script, or some way to work around a rule or system, but technology changes so fast that most methods are short term and not sustainable. Craigslist finds ways to block a lot of these methods just as fast as they can make up new ones. Of course there are some really smart guys on the dark side that continually play this cat and mouse game.

But you are absolutely right, there is a very ethical way one can approach this business and set up sustainable income streams and most importantly, feel good about what your doing. There are many benefits to running and operating a business founded on integrity and honesty including...

-Sustainability: If you build your IM business with the sole intent of providing value in an ethical manner, you are much much much more likely to set up sustainable income streams. This is why I pursued down this path. I want to work my butt off for another fwe years and then have income streams out the wazoo that require little oversight or attention. The only way to do this is to set up legitimate ventures. The dark marketers play cat and mouse and can rarely walk away from what they are doing and still earn money far into the future.

-Sleep: I hit my pillow every night knowing I am doing good things and helping people. I'm not ripping off old people, deceiving CPA networks, or what a lot of dark side marketing comes down to...stealing. I can sleep well, wake up with a smile, and this means more than any check I'll ever receive.

These are the two primary reasons I stick to the white side, but do be very aware that there is a dark side out there and the internet is still (less so, but still...) a wild west to a certain degree.

It's really great to see people like you really finding a deep passion for internet marketing. I myself found the same passion a couple of years ago, and can't see my career ever straying away from it. The business truly is ethical in nature, but in any niche, there's always going to be the people that try to illegitimately make money from legitimate companies. It's these people that often ruin it for the rest, but as long as you keep yourself on the 'light side of the force' you will be very happy in the long run! Keep it up, and let your passion grow for IM. In my opinion it's the most enjoyable way of making money, and I'm sure there's tons of warriors who agree with me!

But there's no replacement for hard work, dedication and plenty of testing.

There's a huge difference between making money and building a business. Its much easier to build a business the ethical way!

I couldn't agree more Kenster, the satisfaction I get out of making someone else's day makes the money that comes as total icing on the cake, so I make a little business thats a joy, and life tends to follow ...

Great post Dave! There are always going to be dirtbags in almost anything you do. Its because they are too lazy to do things the right way and are always looking for easy way out. I honestly don't even give them the time of day or ever really think about them.

I know things changed for me when one day when I was struggling a little bit I just thought to myself, how can I meet ppls needs?? I think that's the key to success in IM. If you are genuinely trying to help fill a need for someone it will pay off on both ends.

Its nice seeing posts like this one that reiterate that IM is an honest business to get into and is full of great ppl trying to help others out.

You are absolutely right Sean. IM is filled with great people offering tremendous value to people all over the world.

I think its a natural reaction to see people making money online and assume that they aren't providing society a great benefit. There is just something about the internet that sketches people out. At the end of the day, as long as I know I am providing value in everything I do, I can sleep well and comfortably at night...and thats the most important thing to me.

I knew from the moment I typed in "make money online" that I wanted to work from home for myself, with a solid permanent income! The more I work away, and constantly try to improve what I am doing, the more I see that doing everything the legitimate way will build the permanent income I am looking for down the track.
The more people I help, the better off they are and I am!

Every single day there is new software coming out, new traffic sources to discover and who knows how many new web sites that may be the next big thing or simply a small media buy opportunity.

Things change fast online and that not only makes it fun and interesting but makes it essential for us as marketers to be resilient and on our toes at all times!

I never really understood why people would run fraud traffic in the first place.. why bother doing that when you can make money the right way?

And Kenster.. you always have the best and most inspiring posts.. I've been reading in here a LOT and have definitely learned quite a bit from you.

The reason people run fraudulent traffic is because it's quick, cost-effective, and very profitable for the fraudster if it isn't caught.

The stupid part of that is.. it's almost always caught and can easily follow with a law suit.

People never learn!

The industry is great and if done right...all parties walk away well ahead of the game. Fraudsters only hurt the process making you, me, and them less money. At the end of the day, everybody loses with these dopes!
