okay guys i have been doing ppv and after only 3 impressions i made 25 bucks now i know what keyword got me the sale but how can i scale that. The keyword itself doesn't have a high search volume i get maybe 3-7 impressions a day so how would the experts scale from here?

Make sure to sign up with MSN and yahoo and use that keyword with their servers. Also try and squeak another keyword close or use that keyword with 1 0r 2 more words.

Some won't convert, so you'll have to do some optimizing. Don't be afraid to lose some money to scale this thing. If it converts well, just remove the non-converting keywords/url and you could be making a nice buck. Also, sign up to other PPV networks and run the same keywords/urls. Each PPV network will probably have different conversion rates. The same keywords might convert for one network, and not convert for another.

Pending on what network your cpa offer is you can put a pixel or add something to your hoplink to track it. Theres alot of different **** you can do and or programs you can use to track stuff. And if your using a cpa offer use a banner and contextual network to get the most out of your impressions.

Or you can use the bit.ly way and with direct linking you can change your link to anything you want plus it tracks everything. Check it! bit.ly.com

You dont need to buy any domain if you're direct linking. Use t202, put the Affiliate URL on t202, choose direct link, and t202 will give you new URL, which you'll use as destination URL. It's too early to draw any conclusion. Let it run for a couple more days. Hope it helps. |

the thing is that the search volume is just too low i get like 10 impressions a day from the keyword that converted and i guess ill start to promote it on other networks. Also i guess i can use the same technique for other similar cpa offers too.

You really need more traffic and conversion data, before deciding either way. There are certainly times where, you get more of a "fluke" than anything and you just happened to put a product infront of someone who has already done quite a bit of research... If your conversion rates still hold true, work with the account manager and see if there is more traffic you can get for that keyword term. Also look for similar related keywords that have more traffic, ect. |

Hey, wouldnt it be great if your conversion rate was consistently at 33%!!! Anywho, normally you would first expand horizontally in your keyword exploration. In this situation these will probably be other low search volume high conversion keywords. You will also need to broaden your keywords a bit and test the conversion with these keywords. Remember, conversion might go down, but if you are pushing more volume at a lower conversion rate you can still make a lot more money. If you can turn these broader keywords profitable, then expand on those. Its hard to give more specific advice without more specific data but hopefully that will help a bit! ~ken |

Hi Harry, If you know the keyword that converted, you can always take it and run another cpv campaign with another cpv network. There are 3 networks I recommend: Trafficvance, Lead Impact and Media Traffic. If you manage to mantain your convertion rate consistent, then you can easily double or triple the traffic just by scaling the campaign to other networks. hope this helps, Mario |

Hi Harry I had a similar situation, where i had two $30 conversions in the first 10 impressions, so I ran it and broadened the keywords etc, etc, and never had another conversion since! Not sure what happened there, but thats the way it goes! Hopefully yours is a winner! URL's related to your converting keyword can be a good thing to try, sometimes that found me some very nice conversions! (PPV Den has a great free url scraper) |

You need to do more testing... More traffic more keywords.

Nice! Good luck on scaling it- kinda like David said, I've had a few camps get like a 50% or 33% conversion rate at first... then when I started to scale (or even before I got o that) it came down to about a 5-10%.... Still not bad, but just be aware that it happens :-) |

Its all about having enough data for statistical relevancy. If you get two impressions and two sales you can't claim you have a 100% conversion rate landing page because there isnt statistical relevancy to justify such a statement. I see people making generalizations all the time without enough statistical data to support such statements! ~ken

If you want to scale it , first understand your keyword . Then you can try bidding on similar keywords . Make also sure to bid on URLs. Mike |

Research similar keywords with google keyword tool and pick a couple that have high searches per month but not that much competition.
