My experience with POF in the last month has been that I get more conversions in the first half of the day than in the second half. At times I'm tempted to "bank" my profits when I'm up and go again the next day. If I let it ride, I end up breaking even or worse. Has anyone else seen that? This is when I set it to spread clicks throughout the day, obviously, so i get a burst of impressions every hour. I don't think it's because people are tired of seeing the ads. CTRs are sometimes up, sometimes down, but even when CTR is higher, conversions are not happening. Any ideas? |

Of course, that is natural. I've setup scripts to pause my campaigns based on giving me a -Roi and you may lose a conversion or two, but your ROI will be better. 3A163CC0-3E40-6D19-7E5A-49D785FB8DB7 1.03.01 |

Yes, it's normal to have a better performance during a certain period of the day. It's not something hat happens only with PoF, it happens with many platforms. Sometimes, the difference is not big and the ROI doesn't vary a lot, but in other cases you need to pause the campaigns for a few hours in order to keep your ROI high. Actually, this is, IMO, the biggest problem of PoF, it's not possible to set your ads to run during a certain period of the day as we can do with Google, you need to pause/unpause your campaigns manually. PoF is a quite unusual platform. I've had a couple of campaigns where I actually got a crazy ROI right of the bat. I'd be selling $30-$40 products, I would make a few sales in just hours of starting the campaign. So i'd be at like 500% ROI. And then, I'd leave the campaign to run, and get even more traffic, better CTR, and barely get any sales, and I would end up just breaking even. Some campaigns can die out after a few days on PoF. It's hard to get something that will work for a longer period of time on this platform, but not impossible. What you're experiencing is normal with PoF. |
