Just got accepted to CPAlead - can someone please answer a stupid question

Hi guys,

Got accepted to CPAlead. Interface is really good and excited to start promoting.

I have come up against a really stupid problem (which makes me feel stupid

).

I don't want to use the widgets. I want to direct link using essentially what is my affiliate link.

Just to confirm first that the affiliate links are very, very short. All of mine are only a few letters long.

Secondly, I want to have a look at each of the offer pages to help me know how to promote it.

However, no matter which link of mine (generated by the dashboard) I put into my browser, I keep getting sent to the same offer page. It seems like evey single link in the place leads to the same offer - which just can't be true as the offer has nothing to do with all of the different links.

Even when I clea my cache e.t.c. this happens.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

The only stupid questions are the ones that go unasked. With that being said it sounds like you made an affiliate link for a particular offer. You probably need to make one for each offer as they will probably be different.

Hmmm...so it seems I am not the only one.

It is very strange. Let me go through wht I have done.

I log-in to my dashboard at cpalead and then proceed to the 'Survey' tab.

I then go to USA offers, or UK offers, or Australian Offers (or whatever) and go to any of the offers and click on the text of the offer (which is a link).

A box appears which states the offer payout and some other details. There is a link that says something like 'click here for your link'. After doing this it presents a very, very short link.

If I cut and paste this into another browser window it goes to a particular offer.

Now, if I repeat this process with ANY other offer in the network which gives a different link) they still all point to the same offer page.

I am very confused.

Can any warriors clear this up?

I think this is because of Geo-targeting
if you are in US you will be redirected to a US offer when you click a UK offer
