Default Would you critique my landing page?

Hey there,

I was wondering what your thoughts were on this landing page I am considering testing on a campaign. What do you think of the colors and the main text based headline? Would you clickthrough if you saw it, do you have any suggestions?

Cheers
Chris

Hey Chris - Very minor but the click here to test copy towards the bottom...the to is yellow, as is the background so it's tough to actually see the word to on the ad...

Also I'm curious to find out why you're using parking lot inspector in the ad...feel free to not share details with this if it will impact anything with your campaign obviously...

I'm also a visual guy, feed with me intriguing images, a tag line, and i'm clicking through to see whats next....

Did you ever think about using something like:

"Find out if you're smarter than this guy" with the image below in the AD...

Kind of tough to figure out if this is relevant for what you are running or setting up but i just happen to think images are more effective than straight copy but thats just my personal opinion...

A good landing page would be the traditional :

"How Many Triangles Are in This Picture?"

If you know what I'm talking about ..

100% agree with you gabibeowulf..."which line is longer" "do you see an old women or a dress in this picture" those AD's get me and i know what I'm clicking on when i see the ad, still cant contain myself.

Hey Stephen and gabibeowulf,

I just chose it randomly since not many people downunder like parking inspectors even though it is their fault for not following the parking laws. I haven't activated the campaign yet. I hadn't considered using an image, I might use one of those shopped ugly people photos with one of those are you smarter than this person headlines, in fact probably would be a good idea to use a photo of a chimpanzee instead.

Thankyou for your suggestions guys!

Cheers
Chris

Here is an example of poll of mine. It's not active anymore, but made some cash a few months ago.

Try to have a nice layout similar to the offer's page (in this case I was using the free iPad offer) to help with credibility. Also, make sure that you add an image to your lander.

Yeah I would agree with most of the above statements -- A combination of good ad copy + related pictures that grab attention + controversial topic is a good direction to head.

a good way to increase conversions is to put a dropdown box.

are you smarter than...

dropdown box... with einstien / joe the plumber / bob the builder / ext

for some reason dropdown boxes get insane conversion when they have an autoredirect.
