When browsing on the google adwords tool, I can across what I thought could be a gold mine - 200,000+ monthly search's, 0 competition - the only problem is that this is the name of another site, would it be ok bid on this keyword? If i did something like - Think X is good? Check this out! (or something relevant to the other site) would it be ok? Would it be best not to include the keyword in the domain? Thanks, Tim |

I think you can try, but, sometimes, Google doesn't allow you to have trademarks in your ads, so not sure if the "Think X Is Good?" will work. ![]() William |

| Thanks, but would it be ok if i had an ad that was in the same niche as the website but not quoting the trademark then? Would it be best to include it in the domain, or not?

I think the first question is - is that your golden keyword a trademark of that site or is it a simple keyword which they use in their site name. If your's the second case, then you should not worry at all, but of the first one, then it could become a little risky to take such a try. If that is not their trademark and just a good keyword they use, then you can, of course, put it in you domain name as well.

You can until someone decides to try and stop you. I have had competitors use my exact Trademarked Domain name in their Adwords campaigns. I chose not to do anything about it because the name is highly branded and it's free exposure for me. |

I think you can bid the domain name, maybe sometimes this is not allowed. use the change of domain name as keyword.

You can always use a variation that is similar and does not come with all those complications.
